So it's still running ? It is true masterpiece. But just read that Andy Whitfield is no more.. He died of cancer on 11th September. Me is very sad!! RIP sir. In my defense, the premise of both are the same - 'hot chick falls for the Vaimpre dood' But yeah....true blood is pretty mature stuff....but I guess I won't be watching it for sometime now....switching to 'the good wife' instead....and maybe some last few episodes of 'community season 1' for now ! This fall itself 2-3 vampire shows on different channels were greenlighted! Terrible fad! I want more Sci-fi stuff. Btw guys, Alphas isn't very bad. Its influenced from tons of shows, heroes namely, but its pretty watchable. What is interesting is that the powers the "alphas" posses doesn't make them godly. Their powers come with lot of negative effects and causes harm too under duress. Makes them very humanlike. This element is used a lot in the show. Unlike other shows where the superhero type people could do pretty much anything and get away with it. I'm totally out of touch with the current movie & TV shows. i posted this image a few pages back - http://i.imgur.com/TjMqw.jpg it's a list of most shows starting up in the next few weeks. i'd recommend adding the source website to your rss feed or something, it should keep you informed on what's happening in the world of tv shows. it's what i do. as for true blood, i'd definitely recommend it although i don't know why you'd buy it blind. get the first season and watch it, if you like then order the blurays.
