Bird Bird Bird Posted October 17, 2011 Report Share Posted October 17, 2011 So I take my words back. The premiere is miles better than most of the episodes of S1. There's some good focus on interpersonal relationships but sadly, the characters are mostly static. I mean if you read the GN, you literally fall in love with the characters and you start caring for them, but here you hardly feel any emotions for them. The Zombies are a bit more gruesome than S1 and that definitely is a good thing. Episodes are slowly moving on the right track, how fast they catch up remains to be seen. Also, they should change Andrea's character ASAP. The book & the show characters are miles apart. And waiting for Michonne to be introduced ! For all those who haven't read the GN, ending will be a big shocker ! Aftrunner Posted October 17, 2011 Report Share Posted October 17, 2011 I thought Pan Am was getting some pretty average reviews. Its like 6.9 @ IMDB. Might give Revenge a look though. Been reading impressions and WD is also getting mixed reviews from most people. And MM and GOT are still far away. Revenge looks a little better than Pan Am as it's a mystery thriller, but personally I feel Pan Am has better story-telling. Give the pilots a whirl.
