K guys, i've upgraded my broadband plan, I'm starting off these shows

1. Suits

2. Homeland

3. Person of Interest

All 3 have good ratings. Worth it? Reviews?

i don't think person of interest is that good. kind of had a good idea but they haven't really delivered. homeland went south after the first few episodes too, but it's a short season so might as well watch it. suits was pretty fun.

Alright thanks. Homeland is like 91% metacritic but then those reviews are based on the pilot episode alone so like you said it could've gone south, still will give it a try coz the plot sounds a bit 24ish.

Suits seems like another White Collar bromance? Then i'd definitely watch it.

Heck I'm glad nowadays the sci-fi shows and popular dramas are sticking to shorter 12-13 episode seasons unlike the earlier 24 episode norms Much tighter scripts and less filling the gaps. Good stuff.

Planning to start on the "Boardwalk Empire", anyone seen it here? The reviews and the storyline looks good.

Yep, very good. I started it last week and I am hooked.

:surprise:

Did anyone watch Dexter Season 6, Episode 9 titled "Get Gellar" :O? One of the best episodes in the series. The ending was so chilling. So there was actually no Dr. Gellar at all :O and Travis has been the DDK this whole time :suicide:

Most predictable twist ever IMO

I could see it happening ever since I saw both of them sitting in the cafe

Hmm. Well this particular twist has been used in a very famous movie ( Shutter Island ) and a famous game (Black Ops ) but I still was shocked on seeing it as I wasn't expecting this. The killings and the villain in this season has easily been the best so far. Looking forward to the next episode.

Killings are the best this year but I found Season 4 s villain better

if not for the IMDB boards, i too would've never guessed the twist. IMDB discussions totally spoiled it for me. I still think the Get Gellar episode is the best in this season so far.

Dexter's face when Deb says 'I need a table not a chair'...priceless...

This is why you should avoid internet discussions about TV shows.

goes both ways. in this particular case, the discussion of this particular twist over the last few weeks has actually been more entertaining than the show itself. they didn't really disguise it well, so if anyone was completely blown away by it, well... let's just say the lights were a bit dim.

I didn't see that coming. :(
