Even seasons 3 and 5 were much better. The current season is not as intense as the previous ones. Moreover, DDK is not as menacing as the previous villains. The only good thing abt the current season is the killings. Earlier, Dexter was easily among the best TV shows but now it is just another average show. Â just watched it again and i'm not seeing it tbh. then again, the writing of the show has been quite pathetic this season so if they did introduce it for shock value or whatever, i don't think i'd be surprised. the writing has been going downhill for a while and this would mean it reached it's destination, which is rock bottom. Â I saw the series only once and IMO, 'the Greeks' don't deserve an entire season..they could've wrapped it in a few episodes..I mean, we don't even see these characters a lot in other seasons while rest of the characters appear consistently in almost all episodes. Plus why is the challenge winner also takes part in elimination. He/she really has no incentive except maybe at times getting to choose the ingredients or getting the recipe. Dunno, Australia has set the bar so high you can't help but compare with it. The judges are fine though, Ramsey has his own fan following. Also the difficulty level was a lot higher in the Aus version. Here the challenges seem simpler.  Yeah that whole rivalry seems so awfully put up. Suzy Singh ko toh chaaanta maarne ka mann karta hai. Atleast that Max guy is openly arrogant. Suzy is like that irritating goody-two-shoes know it all who thinks she's acting humble but everyone pretty much hates her . See, they all bitch about each other. I liked the Aus contestants coz they showed a lot more class. yea like u said, this is pretty much R rated with the "beeps" clocking in every minute   Even I don't like Suzy Singh..
