How was it? just watched it. the absence of andy and john hannah hangs thick in the air, it's like a huge gaping hole in the show that is obvious for everyone to see. the new guy does a decent job but there are no commanding characters left on the show. no one like batiatus used to be for example. let's see, hopefully the writing will be good enough that the show remains engaging. Yeah the show pushed its length, but it was always uniquely fun, with an awesome dedicated cast. Screw you Fox for stuffing around with the order of episodes and dooming the series. Idiots! Also, Sherlock seasons 1 & 2 in one sitting. One word: brilliant. Also, anyone watching Alcatraz. shameless is a bit of drama, mostly comedy. well worth watching. it's based on a bbc show of the same name which i've read is even better, but i haven't seen the original. watching alcatraz... interesting premise but they're just 3-4 episodes in and they've already turned into just another by the numbers cop show. will give it some more time but it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere. The latest episode of 'the good wife' was awesome .... treat to see 'wendy scott carr' getting owned i don't know man. they've been building up the whole will gardener bribery story for almost the entire season and then it suddenly gets all resolved in the last 10 minutes of 1 episode? felt abrupt to me. But it's still so fun to see her make an a*s out of herself in the courtroom .... it's over. what else is there to do? peter florrick fired her and he said it's over and done with. not really sure what other plot points they're going to focus on for the rest of the season... the tension between the partners in the firm is resolved, ditto for the issues between kalinda and alicia. only new story thread is is eli picking a fight with the divorce attorney. what else is going on anyway? NitroNeo Posted February 2, 2012 Report Share Posted February 2, 2012 Started watching The inbetweeners it's a decent show , certainly not at the level that some people hyped it to be , the will guy is really annoying , i never seen such a irritating geek who is so full of it & the most popular girl in the school wanted to do it with him , god , if it wasn't for simon , jay & the tall block i would have stopped watching this show This is like a M Version of American pie , without any actual pie , the only thing they have changed is now people go wills mum , instead of stiflers mum , but nothing has happened till now , pheww that would have been a bore The IT Crowd is way better than this , they should do a sitcom on superbad that would kick it IN-BETWEEN-ERS Anyway on a serious note community shows a better take on student life than this show , only difference is that community shows college life , but they too don't show this much desperation for getting laid than in the inbetweeners Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
