Have seen 4 episodes now and still find myself trying to do other things while the show is on. So it's not really engrossing me. Will give it another 2 episodes. Also worth checking out is Homicide: A Year On The Killing Street (book). Its written by the creator of the Wire. Has a lot of characters that were clearly the inspiration of people you see in the Wire. Plus some common themes and scenarios. Coz the 3rd episode's description is those 2 working together to take down some big criminal. So I wonder how they'll wrap this up in just 1 more episode. The whole counting the times the bell rang..finding out its a brass bell..and HOW THE FAQ did they zero in on cape verde :S hehe..but the most ridic part was him leaving the map just like that.
