Another excellent episode of Newsroom .... the confrontation between sloan and charlie was really humorous, even though it was supposed to be a serious situation, especially the buildup where don asks sloan to wait for 10 secs/5 secs etc, and then charlie boom's in haha

Latest episode of Breaking Bad was good.

But they should have ended it at season 4 like originally scheduled. Why have a extra (and final) season after that?

Bold--Curiosity, mate. :fear: That's why I'm watching LOST now. Its sh*t.. the episodes don't even end with a high/suspense <_< just watching for the sake of it. And its rated 8.5 on avg by million votes.

Lost was awesome back in the day; specially the first few seasons. I guess its too late to watch it now. All that hype and stuff would kinda spoil the experience. Plus, Lost was ahead of its time when it was being aired. I don't know if I would like Lost had I started watching it in 2012.

yea the sloan-charlie faceoff was good. i don't like how the other women are written in this show. they're complete idiots and really annoying to watch. the other good part was when jeff daniels was interviewing that campaign manager who had a breakdown on tv.

i have a feeling that the show is getting a bad rep because americans take their politics way too seriously. this show takes potshots at the american conservative political viewpoint and that's alienating half of their country and coloring reviews and opinions about the show. been reading about the show around the internet and you get people saying that it's not realistic (duh, it's a drama for entertainment), that it's written with 20/20 hindsight and i've even read people saying that it's not 'fair' because 'the other side' doesn't get a chance to defend itself, as if that is supposed to matter at all for a tv show. i think most people outside america who wouldn't give a sh*t about all that will enjoy it more. i still do think the show needs better written characters though, especially the roles played by mortimer and pill.

Oh and in Breaking Bad,

IMO, Walt will die or be left alone in the end. After all the sh*t he has done, he deserves only that.

i think jesse finds out about the lily of the valley and rats out walt to hank. but however it happens, i'm betting hank will find out about walt at the end of the 8th episode. the 8th episode is where the first part of this season ends, and we're going to have to wait till july 2013 for the show to continue. almost 8-10 month long cliffhanger.

if you say so. i thought it was amusing in the beginning but after a while the characters became caricatures. that's where i stopped.

Did you watch season 3 , the different timeline concept along with a whole episode made up of 8-bit video game design & that too a RPG , also blanketform v/s pillowfort & changlorious b@sterds , how can you not like it , it was the godly season of this years sitcoms

New Girl

Dude it's awesome fun , sure you get the same old friend group sitcom but all the characters are fun , i really like how nick is annoyed by jess most of the time , only to end up understanding her behaviour day by day , also smith & that douchebag jar , epic concept after cougar town's penny can

+1 Nitro.

Well put eps--not to forget Christmas ep from S02--makes me want to rewatch the whole series again.

Community reeks of creativity. Just like Arrested Devlp did back then. (cant wait for the movie).

Wonder who will top Community.

Yeah episode was awesome , Well modern family is on par with it & IT Crowd is awesome too but apart from those i don't see any potential , i am always puzzled that community being a NBC Sitcoms which is loved by majority of the people who watch it & also being the best science fiction , geek show there is , is not even nominated for emmy's what is wrong with the world , two & a half men gets nominations at a point where i feel enough is enough just end the show the story isn't getting anywhere , they removed charlie just to make another one like him all over again , american logic is beyond me now

The campaign manager interview was awesome , i actually couldn't help but compare it to the kind of interviews Arnab Goswami conducts on regular basis in times now. I wish someone like the campaign manager comes to his show and argue back the same way .... would be fun to watch :P The mosque interview scene was quite controversial.... I'm not surprised its getting negative reps .... its still a sensitive subject in most parts of the world !

Yep, people in America take it a lot seriously...GOP, liberals, republicans etc..Plus like u said, press and journos are trashing it because of the hindsight reason. In reality they are rigt, its easier to take the difficult calls when u have 2 years worth information and follow up data so that u can write the script, but then again, people always draw parallels to reality when the show is based on such a charged topic. The premise and plot of the show is not exactly casual that people will take it casually. Each episode deals with an important or controversialincident that happened in real life and with real people so I can see why people are getting charged and have divided opinions about how the show tackles each issue. Abroad yea no one would care.

I feel Will as a character is a bit too preachy. He tries to think he can solve all the problems of the world for some reason. And you are right about the women. At the first episode I felt Emily Mortimer would be the kind of angry standing up for herself woman who would regularly face off and not take any sh*t from Will but sadly her character is so weak. No idea why she still carries so much guilt about what happened and cowers below Will everytime. I couldn't believe that episode where she asks Sloan to teach he economics. I mean, almost every seasoned journo working in a newsroom HAS to be sufficiently knowledgeable in finance and not just politics.

Sloan is better, but she is written as this weird, socially awkward character. typically nerdy but not knowing how to deal with people and emotions. Maggi is plain irritating to me.

Charlie is awesome. He seems so old but he delivers his dialogues with lot of punch and energy

Apart from the Lily of the Valley part, there is also the incident where Walt walks in on Jane ODing, but doesn't do anything, just lets her die. That would sting Jesse way more, but the thing is how he will find out about that.

That is why I say Walt has done too much sh*t for anybody's good so he is going down.

But the splitting of this season of Breaking Bad is too much. Man, I started watching this series coz I thought it is complete (4 seasons). I hate waiting for the next episode. But anyhow...

Agreed, Maggi is one annoying character, and the lowest point of the show is maggie/jim's budding romance :-/

And I find sloan hot .... especially when she's in glasses .... ooooh
