And oh yea Sloan...i had no idea she was in Iron man 2 ....cant remember who she was :s Google gave me this: There’s a part for “Attack of the Show” host Olivia Munn in “Iron Man 2″ (she plays television reporter Chess Roberts). spindoctor Posted August 2, 2012 Report Share Posted August 2, 2012 there's an interview aaron sorkin did about the criticism that newsroom is getting. http://tvline.com/2012/08/01/aaron-sorkin-the-newsroom-criticism/ he says that he disagrees with people who say that the women on the show are poorly written :\. one important thing he mentions is that the whole season is written and shot before the first episode airs, so even if he wanted to, he can't change anything about the show based on user feedback. hopefully he'll do something about it in season 2. i'm not 100% sure but i think the next episode is going to deal with the death of osama bin laden. i doubt any americans will be able to find a reason to complain about that subject :| Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

phreak Posted August 2, 2012 Report Share Posted August 2, 2012 Yeah episode was awesome , Well modern family is on par with it & IT Crowd is awesome too but apart from those i don't see any potential , i am always puzzled that community being a NBC Sitcoms which is loved by majority of the people who watch it & also being the best science fiction , geek show there is , is not even nominated for emmy's what is wrong with the world , two & a half men gets nominations at a point where i feel enough is enough just end the show the story isn't getting anywhere , they removed charlie just to make another one like him all over again , american logic is beyond me now Community's degree of creativity & difficulty is far higher than most shows and the Emmy Voters should be embarrassed that they didn't reward it. I Love Charlie Sheen-- TIGERBLOODFTW -- stopped watching from season9 HIMYM, TBBT, TAAHM, office etc have all lost their touch. Modern family comes close second to Community. Miss shows like Scrubs, entourage /f**kinstudios -- Season3, Lost-- flashes before your eyes, so far the best episode of the series- brilliant writing, acting n editing in those 40m -- Started watching 'TheNewsroom', loving it-- wish we had something like this about Indian TV. Fav parts of community was the paintball episodes and the blanket vs pillow fort episodes ... Its hilarious how they showed it like it was world war 3 lol ... Jeff like always ... Least bothered till the very end . .. I also liked this show called .. Lie to me .... Loved the main character ... Felt a little like house ... Himym season 7 was horrible :/ .... The quality of the show remains same as from first episode, it is just that I felt the show didn't grow on me, I got bored of it. NitroNeo Posted August 4, 2012 Report Share Posted August 4, 2012 Community partly contributed in the creation of the 2nd spider-man [Miles Morales] from the ultimate universe , who has received positive reviews , i'd like to see any sitcom top that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Man_%28Miles_Morales%29 Dan Harmon sacking is a big loss yes , i wonder if the show will ever be the same again Modern Family is trying to do a Frasier , did you notice all the 11 seasons of Frasier had 24 episodes & modern family is also a sitcom heavily focused on family bonds & all of it's seasons till now had 24 episodes too , modern family IMO can reach the highs of Frasier , there is a good story cycle for all the characters & young kids are slowly being introduced to fill in the void that the growth of hailey & alex will leave by season 7 or so when they will be in college and wont be shows as much , i hope MF & Community can make the 10 season mark which seems to be the best high for any sitcom ever made , though Two and a half man will be a insult to it , it should have ended on season 9 or so unless charlie sheen can patch things up with the director and make a dramatic comeback i don't see the show any relevant story wise Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Then dropped it. Tried watching a few episodes of season 8, but with Zach Braff trying to carry out the same character with his stupid stubble, it literally killed off the show.
