spindoctor Posted October 23, 2012 Report Share Posted October 23, 2012 (edited) if anything, i'd say lucy liu is the weakest link. jonny lee miller is a doing a good job of portraying sherlock and the writing is decent too. it doesn't compare to the bbc sherlock of course but it's not bad either. spindoctor Posted October 25, 2012 Report Share Posted October 25, 2012 so elementary and vegas both got full season orders, which is neat. elementary could turn out to be pretty good. vegas is kind of decent too... similar theme to longmire but longmire never really lived up to it's potential. vegas has some good acting all around but the star of the show is michael chiklis who is the main villain and he's doing a terrific job. best tv villian since gustavo fring imo. The rare moment when the TV producers took their viewers into consideration and decided not to drag their feet just to save on budget and screen time. Homeland...that was unexpected. I seriously thought that Brodie would somehow end up as the VP of USA, somehow the circle who knew who he was wd be smaller and get eliminated. But this week really pulled the rug from under my feet. Brodie-double agent? and Carrie as handler? I just wish they had made Abu Nazir a stronger threat in the show. A hot chick takes revenge on a dumb a*s group of rich sub-ubran hypocrites (where everyone sleeps with everybody else other than their spouses). Thats the gist of revenge. It can get really amateurish and cliched at times, but still, after watching some really serious shows like Downton Abbey, I'm kinda liking this.
