Ne0 Posted April 12, 2013 Report Share Posted April 12, 2013 Yeah it was really good. And it really feels like its true to the spirit of the books even though it doesnt really cover the same area. The acting is great (Mads is sublime as expected) and its shot gorgeously. Cant wait for the rest of the season. Hope it gets picked up for a second season and doesnt turn to complete sh*t like the Following. They spend the first 8 episodes or so hunting for that girl's brother who has been kidnapped. They finally find him in the last episode before a 4 month break. True, must have been a difficulty since the show's conception with everyone knowing most of the end. Still, I think they managed to do a great job balancing fan service and historical accuracy, which is quite an achievement. The credits were a lovely touch.
