But I'm interested now since it's the last season Yes, season 5 was horrible (worst of the show). I also didn't like S6 but it was better than S5. You can skip it if you want. Just read about the cliffhanger in S6 finale. Don't miss S7, you must watch it before starting S8. Showtime pulled their shows from Netflix about 2 years ago. (For Dexter and other Showtime shows like Californication.., you'll need to buy Showtime subscription.) Premium cable channels such as HBO and Showtime also are withholding their most popular series, including “Game of Thrones” and “Dexter,” because they are worried about losing subscribers if the content is available on Netflix’s less expensive Internet service.In other words, HBO and Showtime are more worried about losing money through Netflix than decreasing piracy. Dexter just keeps going downhill.. Up and down and up. Season 1-3 were good. (I liked Doakes and Miguel Prado ) Season 4 was okay. Season 5 was meh. Season 6 was okay. Season 7 was good. (I kinda stopped after season 2 and totally forgot about it.. was sorting out TV shows and found "Teen Wolf", so...) IMBD ratings seems to be above 8.5-9.4 for season 3 episodes. Edit: Also, Community season 4 got over or on hold for next set of episodes? Only 13 episodes out and season 5 is listed on IMDB. Last edit: How is House of Cards?
