achilles
Breaking Bad spoilers: Holy f**king sh*t. Great start. Great, great end. "Tread lightly" is the new "I'm the one who knocks" and "Say my name", all of them, non co-incidentally, in season openers. Also, did anyone else get the Gus-like towel folding right before the vomit nod? Whoa is me. One question: Why does Walt give a look, or hesitates for a second right after he turns around after picking up the ricin?
dylanjosh
Breaking Bad spoilers: Holy f**king sh*t. Great start. Great, great end. Also, did anyone else get the Gus-like towel folding right before the vomit nod? Whoa is me. One question: Why does Walt give a look, or hesitates for a second right after he turns around after picking up the ricin? BB S05E09 spoilers.. tread lightly Not only the towel, but even in the car wash. He acts exactly like Gus did at Los Pollos Hermanos. "May I take your order?" "I hope you have a nice day" /// "Do you have a ticket?" "Have an A1 day" while interjecting it with drug talk. There's a theory that Walt starts showing characteristics of people he's killed: After he killed Crazy 8 he started eating sandwiches without a crust. After killing Mike he has his drinks like Mike does The Star Trek fake script apparently reflects Walt/Mike/Jesse. As for your question, he stops to look at a broken reflection. Possibly its just meant to reflect how broken his life is now? :/ BTW, who expected them to just start Hank v Walt right from the first Epi? I thought they would draw it out. sh*t's about to get intense. "Well, I see you have the work coming home to you" - says Walter while walking straight into Hanks garage. meaNmachine
WOW! Just saw it. Great start. BB S05E09 spoilers.. tread lightly Not only the towel, but even in the car wash. I was going to post that theory. Ninja'd :| About Mike's habit : When Mike and Walt meet at a bar in an earlier season, Walt orders his drink neat while Mike has his on the rocks. After Mike is killed, Hank offers Walt a drink in his office - Walt asks for it on the rocks. There is one more interesting thing about this theory: At that opening scene at Denny's (S05E01), Walt arranges his bacon into his new age. Skyler used to do that! He's also using Skyler's maiden name (Lambert) on his fake ID. Maybe he killed Skyler before that scene? That would be great I always wanted him to kill that nagging bi*ch. BTW when do you guys think Jesse will find out that Walt poisoned Brock? and that he allowed Jane to die before his eyes? I think Jesse will kill Heisenberg in the end
dylanjosh
I feel like the only one who doesn't hate Skyler. She is practically a saint compared to others on the show :/Also, regarding the theory, I think it's stretch but: (warning: future speculation) Edited August 12, 2013 by Dylanjosh
neoragexx
Holy sh*t that last scene. Holy sh*t. That's what I love about this show, no fannying about to drag plot points over numerous episodes. sh*t's gonna hit the fan now.
harsh1387
Brilliant episode. Why the f**k is it ending.. I get the feeling from today's episode that Walt will kill Hank and Jesse will kill Walt. Another theory i can see is Walt killing everyone including jesse and standing alone in the end without any family, friends.

Considering the 'flash foward' scenes, this is not impossible Notice how the word HEISENBERG is sprayed in the house. I guess the secret gets out
harsh1387
Considering the 'flash foward' scenes, this is not impossible Notice how the word HEISENBERG is sprayed in the house. I guess the secret gets out Exactly cos of his house condition in flash forward scenes i am speculating that he kills everyone as the word gets out and he had to eliminate Hank, jesse, skylar and the he disappears to come back now
piper
Breaking Bad episode has made following the series worthwhile. Now for new season of SoA to start as well.
zen
Exactly cos of his house condition in flash forward scenes i am speculating that he kills everyone as the word gets out and he had to eliminate Hank, jesse, skylar and the he disappears to come back now Cant see him killing Skyler, Jesse, or even Hank. He is very protective about his family, obsessively devoted to them, they are his one saving grace. And did you forget the cancer? At this point its about making sure Walt Jr. and the baby never finds out who he is, and his family is safe. Which we find out in the flash-forward he didn't succeed at. Wow at BB! Slow-burn episode all the way to the final confrontation this show has been building upto since the 1st episode. But I think the high-jinks of the earlier season (magnets! Bombs in nursing homes! Hitmen with balloons!) is over. The show has definitely gone into a darker territory. Not even Badjer's Star Trek episode lightened the mood of this sad, miserable episode. The show has a feeling of Heisenberg being dead, leaving Walter White to clean up the mess.

The graffiti and his house condition is a result of Heisenberg becoming an urban legend and ultimately cool for the kids around, so they like to hang around and skateboard at his place and that graffiti is also the work of a kid with a spray can. Also, judging by the reaction of his neighbour, looks like he used the disappear card on his family that he was unable to in Crawl Space. I highly doubt he is going to kill any more people this season till the final showdown with dat RIFLE Too bad it's Breaking Bad is ending. It just keeps getting better & better. Spoiler:  Epic! Yes Dylan, I read IMDB too Don't get how the star trek fake scrip reflects those three. Will watch that scene again. It was LOL worthy to see Jesse totally disinterested in anything, including the $5mil. He just got up and walked away from the narrative I feel like the only one who doesn't hate Skyler. She is practically a saint compared to others on the show :/ Also, regarding the theory, I think it's stretch but: (warning: future speculation) It's not the same jacket. achilles
@Dylan Also I literally LOL'd at the "You have the work coming home to you" line. Cranston And, how awesome was Hank in the final showdown. The acting calibre is through the roof!

zen
I think rather than Hank Walt's real nemesis is going to be Jesse this season. To much wrong has been done to him for him to be forgiving. There are subtle reminders spread out through the episode about the evil Walt has perpetrated on him: him removing his cigarette-pack in front of Saul's henchmen, who we know replaced it with a ricin-less one, Walt coming to his house with a bag of his money: a call back to the time he did it in the 2nd season, causing Jane's death. Jesse will kill Skyler. Inadvertently, accidentally but it's going to happen. I knew this when in the s05part1 he looks with empathy at a miserable Skyler walking away. There was no reason for these characters to meet, and this show does nothing by chance, so I have to believe this will play into the end-game.
