achilles
Walt's real nemesis is going to be Jesse this season. To much wrong has been done to him for him to be forgiving. There are subtle reminders spread out through the episode about the evil Walt has perpetrated on him: him removing his cigarette-pack in front of Saul's henchmen, who we know replaced it with a ricin-less one, Walt coming to his house with a bag of his money: a call back to the time he did it in the 2nd season, causing Jane's death. Jesse will kill Skyler. I feel this season's main antagonist is going to be Lydia. That cigarette pack being open in front of that fat guy was a little too elaborate for me too, like just a second extra of screen time, so let's see how that develops. But Lydia will pull something out like going after Jesse to make him cook because 68%, ain't no one got high fo' that
achilles
Oh, by the way, Vince Gilligan was on By The Way, in conversation with Jeff Garlin. Get the podcast. Was an absolute riot.
meaNmachine
Yep, a nagging bitch? All these dumb-asses on the net, be it imdb or youtube comments sections, get on my nerves. Skyler has a not so normal son, , money problems, an under-achiever husband who ends up with cancer who starts acting distant n weirdly (remember she didn't know about the cancer fer the first month or so, fer all she knew, he was cheating on her, n then she finds out tht her normal life is not so normal, n her husband is now cooking drugs n dealing with the cartel/mafia, n their life, incl. kids', is in constant danger. Hell, anyone wud nag (!) n flip-out'/! Defending fictional characters as if they are your relatives? All these morons on the net, be it IVG or IGN, get on my nerves. Skyler is a bitch and one of the the most annoying and hated characters on TV. Deal with it. Edited August 13, 2013 by meaNmachine
dylanjosh
^ That's exactly pretty much exactly what Vince Gilligan said about the Skyler hate Man, I don’t see it that way at all. We’ve been at events and had all our actors up onstage, and people ask Anna Gunn, “Why is your character such a bitch?” And with the risk of painting with too broad a brush, I think the people who have these issues with the wives being too bitchy on Breaking Bad are misogynists, plain and simple. I like Skyler a little less now that she’s succumbed to Walt’s machinations, but in the early days she was the voice of morality on the show. She was the one telling him, “You can’t cook crystal meth.” She’s got a tough job being married to this a**hole. And this, by the way, is why I should avoid the Internet at all costs. People are griping about Skyler White being too much of a killjoy to her meth-cooking, murdering husband? She’s telling him not to be a murderer and a guy who cooks drugs for kids. How could you have a problem with that? http://www.uproxx.com/tv/2013/05/vince-gilligan-skyler-white/

dylanjosh
Still need to see Mad Men S6. How was it? I thought S5 was okay.. didn't like the ending Also with Peggie leaving the agency, I've lost the motivation to watch it. She was my fav character by a long shot Edited August 13, 2013 by Dylanjosh
piper
Some comedy show. Then... This. Never found a show that can be a good follow up toThe Wire. In gegeneral, every good show should be followed by some sitcom, to ease into the next good show.

zen
Still need to see Mad Men S6. How was it? I thought S5 was okay.. didn't like the ending Also with Peggie leaving the agency, I've lost the motivation to watch it. She was my fav character by a long shot Season 6 was pretty uneven though it ended on a series-altering note. Cant wait for what the S07, which is also the show's last will go. As for Peggy, I think she is still as important as in the earlier seasons.

Heaven Angel
Bachelor TV show star Gia Allemand who appeared on Season 14 of the show -- is dead. As we reported, the 29-year-old model had been hospitalized in New Orleans since Monday following what her family called a serious emergency medical event. The details surrounding the event are unclear, but it was announced that Allemand had been placed on life support. EDIT: The cause of death was suicide. Gia's boyfriend Ryan Anderson found Gia in her house Monday night. TMZ told Gia was on life support, which was withdrawn today. She had suffered "critical loss of brain and organ function." Her mom, boyfriend and other friends were in the hospital when she died. Edited August 14, 2013 by Heaven Angel
