Abdulah
Started my first television show, breaking bad season1 . Heard so much of it , and this has already created a tense atmosphere after 5 episodes. I am loving this series . Walter white and my dad have very much in common , except he doesn't cook methaphetamine . And since chemistry is my favourite subject , i am loving this show more . Only problem was pacing of last 2 episode ( 4th and 5th) was to slow as compared to first three .

pArth
okay so The Wire is the best TV show ever. Finished s3 yesterday. After watching this, the characters in all other shows seem fake and full of overacting... even the likes of Walter white and whatnot. The dialogues and depth in story easily surpass any other tv show or movie. Edited September 8, 2013 by pArth

After watching this, the characters in all other shows seem fake and full of overacting... even the likes of Walter white and whatnot. The dialogues and depth in story easily surpass any other tv show or movie. I've seen shows that are more gritty, better in production quality, larger scale. But the characters and writing of of the Wire are above par. On that note : Watching The Shield nowadays. A bit relatable to The Wire, but it is more of shock value than anything else. Aftrunner
Ugh another cliffhanger in BB. Instead of actual stuff happening this season or any sort of story progression they are just relying on ending every episode with a cliffhanger to keep people into it. 5 episodes into the final season and jackshit has happened so far. I am sure people here will :wootjump: it up as usual.
piper
Nemo : OitNB is a boring show. You get to "see" Donna in the first few minutes of the show, and maybe a glimpse in a later episode.

Watching the Shield these days. Its good but no where in the league of The wire. Also finished Orphan black first season. Quite an interesting show with a different story line. spindoctor
Nemo : OitNB is a boring show. If someone claimed World War 2 didn't happen they would be less wrong than you are. Breaking Bad is losing the essence of what made it so great. You see glimpses of brilliance this season but IMO the cornerstone of the show was always the relationship and dynamic between Walter and Jesse. Now they've changed mass murderer season 5 Walter of the empire business back to terminal cancer season 1 Walter who is behaving uncharacteristically afraid to partake in any criminal activity. Meanwhile Jesse, also a murder and who has a list of crimes almost as long as Walter, has grown a conscience out of nowhere and spiraled off into the deep end to the point where he didn't say more than 3 words in the first 4 episodes of this season. None of this is entertaining to watch. The entire show has been about the evolution of these 2 characters and now in the final stretch one of them is unhinged and the other has been rebooted. Even if the end game was always meant to be Hank finding out about Walt, they should have written it as Walt plus Jesse against Hank. Meanwhile they spend time on irrelevant plot threads like Lydia's meth business and how it's failing and who gives a f**k about any of that? If they removed every single scene with her and that subplot no one would notice or give a damn because it's completely irrelevant.

DIE HORNY BEECH Orange is a great show overall, aside from the overacting by the lead actress in the latter half of the season.
