Also, watching Strike Back at a friend's recommendation. It's a lot of fun. Anyone watched it? I'm on Season 2. The last season was average, some truly great ones (opener was epic, the one with desperaux, london and harry potter), but a lot of disjointed stuff in between. The series finale, however, was amazing The best way they could have ended it, and the ending was truly in Psych style. Loved the fact that they did not shoe horn drama (as series finale) just for the sake of it, still had that classic psych comedic touch (am talking about the extreme last seconds). High points for me in the episode- Val Kilmer !! holy balls I did not really catch the "Dobson" reference at first but was totally Psyched, for the lack of a better word, upon seeing Kilmer. Billy zane- amongst the top three real life actors mentioned after Val Kilmer but at par with chad michael murray. When Lassie ejects the cd right before shawn is to admit that he is not a real psychic, very nice emotional touch there. That car chase, had me in splits and of course, MONK ! never really watched that show, but have seen a few ads that psych and monk cast have done together. All in all a great, send off. Am sure to have many re runs of this awesome tv show in my years to come. Anything post that started around 2012ish and after... Discovered Downton Abbey, its marvelous. Next stop- Boardwalk Empire. Hated Blacklist after the first 3 episodes or so. Brooklyn nine nine is great. How are Hannibal and Banshee? Any great sci-fi shows? Anything else? Or any promising upcoming shows? Sorry to sound desperate, not been following this thread for a while now. P.s. True Detective is awesome. If you like Downton Abbey, check out Parade's End. Also check out Vikings. Loved it and a fitting send off to one of my favorite shows ever. Agree with Nemo on everything. It was good to see every character was covered beautifully in the last episode. I watched the first season and couldn't find myself interested enough to watch the second. It's a narrowly focused, meandering tale about a small village of vikings and their travels to raid England for riches. Why you little :ranting: I think it's great (imho), especially if you like Norse mythology etc. It's also an excellent companion to the Northlanders comics. Yep. I liked how the character can't get out of the town. The show actually reminds me of the beginning of HEROES where they take something that's usually done cartoonishly and add a very human touch to it. I loved how every character is a mix of good and bad. EDIT: Also, HOW f**king CREEPY WAS VICTOR?? I was so creeped out by him for the first 3 episodes or so.
