zen Posted June 18, 2014 Report Share Posted June 18, 2014 Game of thrones: I'm 3 books in, so I never saw the Hound vs. Brianne fight coming and I never wanted less for two people to fight each other. But holy sh*t was that epic., Brianne howling and beating the sh*t out of him just to survive, the overhead shot of the Hound as he fell to his death. Made up for all the Jon Snow scenes (how the f**k does this guy walk across a field in black uniform and not get shot by an arrow?) But the Tyrion killing Tywin and Shae was a letdown. The stuff with his father is brewing since S01 and the death needed to feel more cathartic. Shae's death was possibily the show at its most shittiest-this is a character that has been around since season 1, her death should have meant more. There is a tragic sadness in every death on GOT, of a fight defeated and individual idealism lost- and both Tywin and Shae's death meant nothing over here. Best way is to watch it alone or with friends . The story is also quite dark with incest being a major plot point .
