Red Band Society The series is a dramedy focused on a group of teenagers living together as patients in a hospital's pediatric ward. Story of a bunch of teenagers who are all living in a hospital that basically looks like a dormitory for royalty. Predictable teen drama story beats but they're all sick so you're supposed to sympathize with them. Not terrible but it has to get significantly better to be worth watching regularly. Didn't perform well at all with audiences. Madam Secretary Drama television series about Elizabeth Faulkner McCord, a female Secretary of State. So here we have this ex CIA operative who retired for ethical reasons suddenly being asked to be the American Secretary of State because her predecessor died in a mysterious plane crash. She is basically a superwoman who rebels against authority and still manages to get everything done perfectly. The only mildly interesting thing is that they lay the groundwork for a season long conspiracy, because of course they do. Ratings were good but West Wing this is not.
