Heaven Angel Posted March 8, 2016 Report Share Posted March 8, 2016 11.22.63 - this week was average. Flash - typical CW fest with teen-crap and less super hero stuff. Daredevil is by far the best. It stays on track. The actors are very well picked and everyone plays their role well. House of Cards - Season 1 is solid. Season 2 is okay. The quality drops. Season 3 was meh. Yet to watch season 4, but don't feel like watching it now. __ The 100. Done with two seasons, and totally surprised how much it changed from season 1. Both seasons were great. Season 2 was bit dark. The female lead actor is bad. Other than that, I love it. (Koldy, you should give it a shot. So much like LOST. Thelonious on destiny is just like Locke. ) Just finished watching episode 5 of the American Crime Story, beautifully enacted riveting series this. I should catch up with it soon. That show will hook you and there is no useless drama romance angles with the superhero and he actually has to work to win, unlike these other shows. Not to mention the absolutely amazing villain. You will be left wondering whether he can be beaten at all! One of the best tv shows out there. Absolutely this. DD is what every superhero show should be. Dd was brilliant probably because it got better funding and support from netflix.. also jessica jones although it was good but was less better th dd.. They had enough content and story for about 7 episodes and they stretched it out to fill up a season but it was only 2-3 episodes longer than it should have been so it wasnt as bad. And JJ had a fantastic villain and a really interesting hero(ine). Pretty good show. These complaints mostly might be at my end though. I think Netflix and GoT has kinda spoiled me on how long TV shows should be. 10-12 episodes means less filler and a much tighter season. Plus they can spend basically double the money per episode if they dont have to stretch it out to 24 episodes so those shows always look gorgeous as well. Narcos is another fantastic example. Not a fan? I freakin hate this guy, he single handedly ruined The Walking Dead. Shane is possibly the worst character ever. Him playing 'The Punisher' is a nightmare come true. dylanjosh Posted March 8, 2016 Report Share Posted March 8, 2016 Yeah I pretty much agree with everyone here. The reason Daredevil was so good is that it aspired to be a legitimate good show. Even if Daredevil was a completely new villain and nobody had heard of Marvel, the show would still be as popular as it is now. The CW shows depend too much on its IP. And its not just the budget, it's how well written it is. The little attention to detail and pacing. The number of episodes also allow the story to flow much better. One irritation I had with Arrow Season 3 was that it felt like Oliver was going through the same troubles he went through 5-6 times before. The whole "I need to do this alone / I'm not going to trust anyone" nonsense. I can understand these issues, in say, Season 1.. but season 3? After.. around 50-60 episodes? After getting so many sidekicks? Christ. He felt like an immature brat. Stopped watching it after that. It was clear padding by the writers who had no idea what to do. Lets see :| Glad, I'm not alone. That guy indeed killed The Walking Dead. I almost gave up. Once he was no longer there, some one took his place and killed my interest once and for all. Lori. Stopped watching.(I enjoyed Daredevil a lot. Fisk was just amazing. I hope Bernthal (Punisher) don't end up punishing the viewers with his obnoxious head.)Why they didn't extend the story with Fisk instead? Given he is Kingpin, yeah? White suit and everything. The city of light storyline has become way more interesting than I thought it would be. Finally caught up with latest episode. Was just sad. Agree with Bellamy. Don't know why sudden change in characters. When I started watching, I thought his sister would go nuts (as in teeny way), but glad her character was well developed. Murphy is my favorite. Lincoln character was interesting too, but somehow they failed to utilize him fully. Don't like the lead female actor. Don't like Raven either. Prince Roan was cool. Hoping it's not end of Ice Nation. The entire Pike and his followers/team is just dumb. Hope it ends soon..brutally. The AI thing turned out to be interesting. Thanks for recommending this.
