Â Pros and Cons: Â Â Â Pros: + The central dilemma - Matt and his no kill rule. + Punisher is awesome! Bernthal plays him very well. Very interesting character. Would love to see him again. + Karen was fantastic this season. Really loved her whole arc. Lots of character development. Arrow and Flash need to take note - this is how you write non-super-powered female characters. + Great conversations - Two scenes in the season, graveyard scene and rooftop. both involving Punisher. + Seeing Wilson Fisk again. Vincent D'onofrio is just so f**king good. He was only in 2 episodes I think and he stole every scene he was in. Â Cons: - Loose story threads. They started a plotline where Matt was losing his hearing and then forgot all about it. Also, what was the big hole in the ground for? - Matt's inconsistency in hearing. Last season it was mentioned Matt uses disturbances in the air and echolocation for sensing his environment. He can do this so well that he can pick out arrows out of thin air. I mean, he's funny, but, it must suck to be him listening to all that. Poor guy. Hopefully no more of Trevor and Griffith and Zane and Mike. I like her, but, it was turning into soap opera. Love how Harvey is so focused and keeps his priorities straight. Louis is the MAN. This guy steals every scene where he is in. Â I didn't like Tess popping out of nowhere just to pause things between Zane and Mike when she finally decided to show up at the doorstep. And after 2 episodes Tess is gone. Come on. Â Good season. I think the Punisher was underused as the Punisher. We get too much time with him as Frank Castle and barely enough time with him as the Punisher. On the other hand the casting was absolutely dead on. Marvel continue to be god tier when it comes to casting their characters. Berenthal was phenomenal. So was Elektra.  Fight choreography is still great. Some really fantastic long shots and pretty decent editing. As are the performances.  The main negative for me was a main villain. Someone like Fisk who could drive the whole season. The hand had no one like him, they are also really underdeveloped. And you cant tell the lack of a central villain hurt the story because EVERY single scene with Fisk in it was breathtaking. First he gave him the blessing, then Louis did everything to get Mike..and in final moment, Harvey pops in and gets Mike back.I feel like this might be the point where Louis will become villain, and I don't want that. The cat drama was awful. Everything with Scottie was headache. Season 4 (till episode 6): nothing but a long filler just to get back on first place with filler characters for no reason just to create more soap opera. Teens losing their mind, I can understand. But even adults falling and pulling teen crap is so bad. Not once or twice, but every time. Second, the writers really don't like Louis. 1 season, fine. 2 seasons, okay. 3? Hmm. 4th season too? Come on. Cut this guy some slack. Even after doing something good, he gets trashed within few minutes and viewers are sent to feelsland. They are ultimately forcing the character to become villain. I would have enjoyed it more if they had followed season 1 and 2. Season 3 and 4 had less laughs, less cases, and more useless drama (cat, really?).Harvey is the only guy who hasn't changed. He is only focused on his business, and keeping the show running. Mike turned douche and getting more annoying episode by episode. Everybody else lost their brain. Not you, Donna. Season 1: 9/10Season 2: 8/10Season 3: 7/10Season 4: 6/10 so far. dunno why but i stopped at 3 ......will restart soon Probably got annoyed with characters losing their mind and doing stupid things.
