Also its really predictable, 15 minutes in to the first episode and you can pretty much guess what the story arc is with no surprises. Hopefully it picks up but so far its really disappointing. The setting, the cast, the acting, the direction, everything was just perfect. Easily the best of HBO till now. I liked the episode but not on game of thrones level. Looked like this will be a short mystery-scifi series with 1-2 seasons. Only paint it black music was played right? During that shootout scene. Loved that scene. Some of the Music... that was pretty much it for me... Just finished it.... It may be great for people who are fans of the comic book character Luke Cage, but for me it was pretty much a one time watch at best. As someone mentioned here before about the genre being blaxpoitation, totally apt... sometimes that is funny, but it didn't work for me in this case. DD>JJ>LC for now.... Not to forget the existence of the most powerful and core element of Arrowverse - Prep talk. Can make these meta-humans ejaculate oceans of onion juice and even invent machines within minutes which can turn everything into gold or just simply destroy the whole universe.
