But he is a better superman that Cavil IMo. Not talking about looking the part, cavil is perfect in that department. But the way the superman character is depicted on supergirl is a stark contrast to Cavil's gloomy and brooding superman. That is why I said the new one is a bit goofy when compared to the old. It still has the same vibes though, almost like a spiritual successor to DCAU.
