Also the fact that Lois already knows Clark is Superman limits his options. Most of the goofy stuff by Clark is when he is with Lois, but here he doesn't need to be around her. Clark Kent currently in movies is a character he becomes much later in comics. Someone who takes journalism very seriously and investigates like a real journalist and Lois knows his secret.

I am fine with goof less superman. Every movies doesn't need pg13 comedy of marvel movies.

Lol true. Snyder actually tries to replicate everything from comics. In comics Clark is rarely goofy. Clark is mostly emo in later editions. Post 1986, Clark actually wins Pulitzer award and is a college footballer. The Clark Kent played by Reeves is Silver age version and that version was consumed by masses and it setup an image of clumsy goofy Clark. Snyder's Clark Kent is 1986 onwards version whose first comics was not coincidentally named The Man of Steel.

True. Superman has been portrayed pretty differently in lots of comics. Superman in Superman for all seasons is pretty dumb/innocent kind of guy with no street smarts.

Holy crap how good is Better Call Saul? This season is quickly reaching BrBa levels of awesome.

are you in season 1 ? I was quite disappointed with the way it concluded the first season, let me know your thoughts once you complete it. But yeah, performance wise , it's really there on the levels of BB , and also that music score in the title screen .... pure awesomeness !

Oops, just saw this. I'm caught up to the current episode, 7th of season 3. It is fan-freakin-tastic. A couple of episodes are in my all time favourites. This is the best show on TV right now. Funny, tight, out of the world performances by everyone, and just like BrBa, seems to be building up to something massive.

Picked up on one of my old favorites, The Americans again with Season 5. First two episodes and I'm in love all over again with Keri Russel's strong acting.

Also, almost ending season 7 of Three's Company. I don't know how many here are familiar with this old show though. Undoubtedly Ritter's best.

I stopped watching The Flash as soon as the second ended. It became a parody of itself. FILLERS FILLERS FILLERS FILLERS

Gotham on the other hand is probably the best Superhero show I've seen. It is ridiculous yet chilling. So consistent with MUCH less annoyances compared to those CW shows barring one or two relationships b/w the characters (and they are NOT fillers). And it's all basing on the first 16 episodes of the first season. So atmospheric and Gotham like! Just like Tim Burton's Batman world. Gotta go back to it.

How is it holding up by the way?
