~The TV Shows Thread~

Watched how I met your mother.

Kind of randomly.

Not every season but it helps there are so many flashbacks.

But did follow the last 2 or 3 completely.

Liked the love angles and ending wasn't that bad,

I didn't expect Robin and Barney to live happily ever after for sure, so that's good.

@Joe Cool Continuation of the Arrowverse? Or is not canon or something?

Didn't bother to keep with the CW shows in the last couple of years, though vaguely familiar with the Crisis on Infinite Earths cross-over.

Yes they are in same arrowverse.

Basically because of corona jhol + Supergirl actress getting pregnant they won't be having supergirl season 6 this year i guess, so this Superman & Lois is to compensate afaik.

Superman actor is NPC looking and so is Lois actress, they are good for supporting characters in Supergirl tv show only, dunno how well this will fare.

I think these CW DC shows only work because of the main actor, could be wrong though.

Supergirl actress and Oliver Queen actor are 10/10, they look and behave like they are actually Supergirl and Arrow, 10/10 casting.

Yeah. I though Brandon was playing Superman again in the Crisis crossover, whats up with this Superman.

Guess they had to bring something now that Arrow is done, and supergirl chick-Mellisa is pregnant.

Never bothered watching Supergirl or Legends of Tomorrow.

I started with Arrow, and thats the one I watched consistently. Flash was good, stopped watching after the Zoom arc.

I'd much rather re-watch Arrow. Stephen Amell did a good job playing Oliver Queen. I preferred the show with the dark undercurrent, not with the whole connected universe bs with time travel and magic and other non-sense. Arrow was the only one where all the actors were pretty good.

Oliver Queen, his friend, the sister, the girlfriend, her dad the cop, his mother. Season 5 brought that back, but then it went into shitzville

Brandon was some alternate reality superman, this NPC Superman is from Supergirl's world.

Basically Brandon normally is Atom i think, so they added the Superman cameo for nostalgia

CW shows are all targeted towards teens. You won't find any ugly looking person on CW network shows.

Not a fan of Hoechlin as Superman. He looks like constipated and doing cosplay. Tulloch looks like his mom.

Superman & Lois is Supergirl spin-off title where it will focus on kids while Lois is working at Daily Planet and Clark taking care of home.

Brandon Routh was just for nostalgia. ? He's more of Atom/Palmer.

Fits the nerdy personality too, at least in S3 of Arrow. Glad he got to don the cape one more time :)

Buff people like him, or Cavill fit the Superman look

My 15 year old self started watching Arrow for Oliver's sister. 10/10 casting for sure

f**king everybody looks like a Runway model.

Though I see what you're talking about. Too bad the pretty faces can't carry the show after first couple of seasons.

Arrow, The 100, Riverdale, lol.

Have seen Banshee and veep, the latter was one of the best/most underrated TV shows I guess !

Thanks, will check out 'it's always sunny....', heard a lot about it, but never got around to watching it at length !

The first 2-3 sessions of arrow were quite good with all that intriguing background storyline of Oliver that ran in parallel to the main plot, the later seasons made it too much about the relationships between the characters, when I lost interest !

I actually liked Felicity the most in that series ?

Season 5 was f**ckin lit too, other than Season 1 and 2.

Rest was really meh.

Flasbacks were epic, except Season 4 and that voodoo nonsense.

Felicity? I like her as comic relief, but Laurel fling was better. Katie Cassidy did her job well.

Her dad the cop (Lance) is one of my favourites from the show, along with Oliver, and Thea

If you got bored with Season 3 and 4, would recommend Season 5. It's really good, and you don't need any prior knowledge to be honest

I've watched upto season 3 I guess......noted...will probably try season 5 . The guy who plays Slade Wilson is such a good actor......he was awesome in Spartacus too!
