The guy who plays Slade Wilson is such a good actor......he was awesome in Spartacus too! Yeah, Manu Bennet. Definitely check out Season 5 then. Its very reminiscent of the first two seasons. Its a bit of a spoiler, but maybe you'll want to watch it more then. Slade is there in Season 5, fantastic as always.

Guest
If season one was mostly empty spectacle—a bunch of super-powered assholes unleashing heat-vision blasts and concrete-shattering punches—now we’ve got a reason to care, a retort to the bleak nihilism that previously drove things along. The supers may be the basis for this show, but it’s the humanity that powers it. The series still packs a mighty wallop, but never loses sight of its sharp social commentary in the mess of blood and guts. The Boys sophomore season doesn't try to pull its punches and really ends up feeling like something special. The imagery is every bit as messed up gore-wise as its predecessor. Perhaps the most important thing that Season 2 does is push the show's scope beyond the realm of capes and tights; its messages aren't subtle, but then again, neither is putting on a costume and fighting crime. Everything it did well with its anti-heroes in season 1 is dialed up to an even more successful degree in this follow up, though a few members of the titular Boys end up taking a backseat as a result. The Boys is back, and bigger, better, and f***ing crazier than ever before. With season two, the Amazon Prime series firmly establishes itself as one of the best TV shows available to watch today. The Boys’ second season kicks off with even more irreverent and gratuitous drama than the first. Showrunner Eric Kripke has found a way to keep the momentum going from Season 1, while also further developing the characters in new and interesting ways. While The Boys avoids tired CGI fests through merciless, pulse-racing, ground-level action and a conspiracy thriller plot, it has its own way of overloading your senses, mainly through its relentless cynicism. Awesome as expected.

Guest
YouTube was not interested in renewing the series and so the producers wanted to find a streaming venue that would leave that option open. Netflix grabbed it.
Guest
Lucifer season 5 part 1 (8 episodes) - didn't enjoy as much I hoped for. First 3 episodes were fun. Episode 4 to 7 were bad and even more with all romance crap. Finale last 15 minutes were good. Maze is total trash character now. Hope they will get rid of her before she drags more. Hopefully last 8 episodes will be better. Also, never liked maze. Don't know why everyone keeps on tolerating her even after so many betrayals. It's more of a drama with few action scenes. Worth the watch. Second season is better than first.Sent from my SM-A505F using Tapatalk
