North
I'm 10 minutes into Ep 1 of Ted Lasso, and the only thought I have is why I didn't start sooner. This is f**ckin brilliant @Joe Cool Jason Sudeikis is great as expected, but I'm loving the British cuss words Edit: The quality doesn't feel that crisp though, I'm watching it on my 1080p monitor. Does it play in 4K? My TV doesn't have the Apple TV+ app though, any workaround? Edited October 2, 2020 by Chirag2001

North
Pls recommend family shows. Extra on the family friendly pls. Not picky about the theme. Suits is long enough to watch, but idk if its family friendly. Want to keep the show going for at least a month.

Giancarlo Esposito wasted. Barely any screen time anymore. Hoping he shows up in finale at least...
North
Western? Indian? Animated? Probably not animated, my parents are nice but they'll expect cartoons and I'm happy with my anime as it is. Indian shows are all crime/drugs/fang stuff these days, they've had enough.I checked Joe's earlier list (thank you man) and we're thinking of starting The Newsroom tonight. Sounds really good.Plus I see Sorkin is behind this, so really excited now. Sent from my Mi A2 using Tapatalk
North
Watched 7 episodes of Ted Lasso since starting it last night, and it is an and absolute gem of a shoe. Would watch that itself with the fam if not for the wanker cheer and Jaime telling everybody how big his dick is. Not long enough to run for a month, but Panchayat on Prime Video is clean, heartwarming comedy. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended. 100%. Really enjoyed this, will be waiting for a Season 2. Wish there were more shows like this than the generic crime shows they're just churning out. 48 minutes ago, Bird Bird Bird said: True Blood Game of thrones Spartacus Californication Masters of sex Babysitter 1 and 2 Shameless The Affair Gossip Girl The Tudors The Vampire Diaries Btw, I haven't watch ANY of these shows, haven't even heard of half of them. Was it not for "Masters of Sex" and GoT's infamous reputation for the nudity, you might've gotten me in big trouble. (I'll still look into them of course, in my own time. Thank you.) Seriously though, its high time I watched Game of Thrones. I'll wrap up Ted Lasso tonight, just brilliant. And this is on a free trial, I'm not even paying, and I feel bad about it. Thats how good this is.

Penultimate ep, the scene with Coach Beard and the chess chick I'm dying of laughter now @Joe Cool Any similar recommendations? The show reminds me of the movie Due Date in some ways, they're both f**king funny and the main character talks too much lol
quixote_1989
Ted Lasso is like a nice hot shower after a long & tiresome day.
Guest
As Kreese says, "The story is just beginning." Season 3 of Cobra Kai premieres January 8, 2021, only on Netflix. And gear up because Season 4 is officially training to join the fight. Cobra Kai Never Dies.

If you cant watch GoT but still want to get into the universe, listen to the audiobooks. Much longer than the TV series, but you can listen while multitasking. I am close to finishing the first book (around 33 hours) in lesser days than it took for me to take out one hour of dedicated time 8 times to sit in front of the TV. Besides, the books flesh out the character in more detail and end up being more enjoyable. You miss the spectacle, but again, it is limited only by your imagination

I'll still check out the show since I've read the books though haha Haven't finished yet, but thats deliberate as I keep waiting around for Martin to give me a conclusion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ted Lasso was a gem of a show. Will be waiting eagerly for Season 2. If there is anything worth watching on Apple TV+ please do tell, I'm gonna cancel this in a couple days, so might as well watch another. achilles
Well this last episode of Lasso was kinda sh*t. I except the absolute last frame. That was gold Great show overall. Will definitely try S2. Also Archer’s back baby. This fourth reminiscent of old time sass and wit. Frenemy-bromance with Barry
