Simu Liu wasn't the reason show is getting cancelled. The co-creators decided to depart. The cancellation announcement pissed off everyone. Such a shame. The show is awesome. ? TRoS on the other hand was such a massive turd that I wish I could wipe it from my memory. I wouldn’t rate Force Awakens for its story or the characters, but it was one of the most exhilarating theatrical experiences I’ve ever had, watching with Star Wars fandom on day 1. I actually liked The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. There's a Zack Snyder-esque redemption arc in play with Rian Johnson being brought back to do a future trilogy. It kinda vindicates the vision he had with the Last Jedi. Aside from that Canto Bight sequence. Dear lord.
