The graphics are sh*t becasue of beta (hopefully)...almost like the first tomb raider games... The airstrip was a ton of fun....a different take on movement! I think they managed to get a lot of kinks out since it first came out...The version says 1.00.638! Get on play!! The fear when you become marked man - OMG it's the best thing since god of war 3!! OK back now...Goodbye sleep for tonight atleast! +1 on everything you said. Hence repped. Add some of us bro, we're gonna be on for the next two weeks by the looks of it! ^i get dat error wen i put my router in"DMZ" mode... wen i dont DMZ it connects fine to uc3 servers also try to do an internet connection test on ur ps3 before startin uc3 Nah bro can't be DMZ. I use DMZ too, and I had the problem earlier when the whole world was downloading and trying to get into the beta + the game wasn't patched at all. Now after the 1.01 patch things are smooth. Try again whoever had this problem 6-8 hours ago... so far its been working fine for me .....have not experienced lag whatsoever and my system has not crashed even a single time. the things i like about the game so far are 1.you wont be killed a lot from behind in this game ....it will be mostly head to head shootout. 2.kickbacks and boosters are really good addition. 3The power plays seems to happen even when there is not much difference among the teams. .once in a match is understandable but it freaking happens 3 to 4 times. 4.teamwork is much more important in this game. 5.its hard to kill people .....ak47 is little weird to use and melee kills are also difficult...even shotguns can fail u sometimes. 6.airstrip cargo plane chase did not appeal to me .it was quite boring.the 2nd part is excellent though. How can you experience the lag.. YOU are the lagger!!! But I agree with quite a bit you said too... 90% done Alright my thoughts... When it just got released, it was epic bullshit. Surprisingly though ND fixed it f**king lightning like asap! Released upgrade after upgrade and now by patch 1.01, all disconnections have been fixed, matchmaking working, you can find players, no visible bugs... Lag has nothing to do with the Beta particularly. Lag is just trademark of the Uncharted franchise and their brilliant servers. The lag is same as that of UC2. For experienced players, we can not only live with it, but enjoy the normal/non laggy opponents like they are a god sent gift! Kickbacks are good, paid boosters are a good idea, I can't be so sure of being able to see enemies 10-30 feet away though, doesn't seem like they wanted to remove SA element of the game. Also, I can't quite understand why they are making more experienced players even MOAR powerful. If someone can destroy others and level up with using an AK (crappy as hell in this game, hope it becomes awesome when completely upgraded) and a simple Pistol, why give them god like abilities like making them spawn with an RPG or Sniper or even give them permanently upgraded/better weapons like the micro uzi and M9 etc? They should be giving more negative boosters like come get some glass jaw like, and making cash 3-4x fold the more negative you keep going. Also I agree with the head to head combat aspect that raj talked about. I have had stupid n00bs come and melee me from behind and I DESTROYED them with the fal, not even an ak, from close range and while simply walking back. So no easy n00b kills from the back in this game. However people who somehow lay their hands on the uzi get back to n00b tactics and make a mad rush for you and blind fire and melee. Also there's no double melee death in this game. Whoever melees first wins. Grenade throws in this game are AWFUL. Grenades should be dropped exactly like they were in UC2. Not ime consuming, instant and where you aim. Here even if you aim with L1 it ends up doing the same simple L2 animation and then throws. Any experienced player would pump you full of lead and bunny hop/roll away by then. Also bunny hopping is still kind of possible, and they've made rolling actually useful. Blindfire seems to work for others, but not for me All in all, I'm amazed at what development ND has done to the game in barely 2-4 hours from release time. I would suggest people not think of it as the next installment of UC2, but rather a completely new game. You will enjoy it a lot LOT more. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Plus i don't see any major visual difference compared to UC2 ..I think final game will look much better Man i hate the slow camera rotation speed in the beta. I'm not talking about the aiming speed(after pressing L1) which can be set manually. Its da default n unchange-able camera speed(right stick widout pressing L1) that is soo sluggish.
