Keano Posted December 12, 2012 Report Share Posted December 12, 2012 We have a disappointing announcement to make regarding the BIG2KREW legacy competition unfortunately. After some allegations made by a number of teams regarding some players game sharing I followed up these allegations directly with Sony and the report came back with the following: The investigation uncovered that there were two consoles used during the tournament times on Dec 8 and 9 that give reason for pause. Console A saw a player from team SK and team Q log onto that console during the tournament times for both the 8th and 9th Console B saw a player from team KIRA and team Q log onto that console during the tournament times for both the 8th and 9th All 3 teams (SK, Q and KIRA) have been disqualified from the competiton (in KIRA's case since they had already been knocked out they will not be allowed to participate in the FFA). As a result the following Quarter-final matchups will be replayed to decide who will proceed to the next round: - Team Art vs Team Get+ - Team Zeus vs Team GaR Both teams have until friday to arrange a matchup between themselves. Despite the seriousness of the actions which took place I would like to point out that it wasnt the entire teams which were guilty of this, rather it was only a few players who were, and as a result they have cost their entire team.
