If you have no life then maybe 5 times. We played both the SP, AND THE MP. And also, yes quite frankly I do think you're mad for shelling out 2.5-7k for a single player campaign. The single player campaign is going to remain the same the first day of release, 6 months from now and 3 years from now. One buys these games the first day of sale to play the Multiplayer component because you know the whole world will be playing the MP. No one gives a rats a*s about the whole world playing the SP. So yes if you're willing to pay insane amounts for a single player campaign, you are quite clearly mad. And about your opinions and views. They're not making much sense in any of the discussions. We're discussing MP you're teaching us SP. We're asking for ABC and you're telling us 2+2=5. That's your opinion and view with regards to the whole discussion. Abhi5hek Posted October 17, 2011 Report Share Posted October 17, 2011 well well .... i think there are two different level on which the discussion is going on .. one is looking at only SP component of the game and praising it (including that review which gave the game 9.9, only based on SP), which in my opinion is useless for a game which had its developers working on MP even before the SP was conceived, and which has its own unique MP fan following. I think all of have to agree MP is an integral part of the Uncharted franchise after UC2 was success, and as much as SP was really spectacular, contribution of MP cannot be ignored in the following of the game. I think it can be understood when you compare two other Awesome games, GOW3, Batnan:AA. They loose their sheen (obviously UC2 was better in SP mode than them but still) due to lack of MP. This is the reason why people like new / saint and others, like me who have been playing this game for more than 1.5 years are disappointed. I am sure SP would be ground breaking with all those things / graphics / ambient lightings / water / sand / stuff .... but MP is where the replayable quotient for the game is created and its not even as per the expectations of those who have played it for more than 20 odd days of gameplay leave exceeding the expectations part. So i think People who are SP followers are happy with what ND is serving on the plate, but the one's who are more interested in the entire Package including the MP as disappointed. kwiksilver Posted October 17, 2011 Report Share Posted October 17, 2011 lol....this is getting silly......the point of this thread is a discussion.......not a virtual slugfest of words.......... if u really dont agree with someones opinion ,just say so with your reason.end of discussion.no need to diss on someone else's comment or statement. we can only gripe abt what we feel is broken or frustrating in the mp(whats been provided) ,we havent played the sp(so no comment abt it).i personally think they've added some great features as well as some which in my opinion(....not fact,just my opinon mind u ),have caused the fun factor to go down.i personally put it down to map design(not many open spaces compared to uc2,like airport map0 and the new sprint button which ,from those who have played will know,lead to some mighty seemingly unfair moments(shud remove it and slightly increase player movt speed).camera movt cud be faster,but i think ive gotten used to it.stopping power needs to be increased. i too am among those who believe that if its only the single player that im interested in,i see no point in buying it full price,esp if its a campaign that doesnt have much replay value FOR ME.i usually start on hard and once done,choose the the highest difficulty and finish it off.For me,the main replay value is the mp,because its fun playin in a group,kicking a*s and getting owned.i've had great times with some of the guys on this thread. i believe that the mp component of uc3 can get better,its in nd's hands.i havent pre ordered it yet.i think i'll wait for an mp review and see if my concerns for the game have been addressed,if so i'll get it.if not,i'll get it later down the line.there are other games out there.
