The power rating states 110-120 volts and I am really afraid to use it directly without a transformer. Can anyone suggest which voltage transformer I should use, and how much it would cost. After doing a lot of research on the internet and this forum itself i concluded that PS3 is safe to run without a converter, But then there are lot of people who use a step down converter/ transformer as well. A friend's US PS3 turned faulty when he plugged it into the mains by mistake after using it with a transformer for over a year. Its all upon you if you want to be cautious you can buy a step down 240-110v, 350w+ transformer. This should be very bulky and heavy. The cose can be any where between 1200 bucks to 2500 bucks.
