I think they will use both instead of quitting one and using other one.

Not really. Two networks which do the same thing? How tacky and difficult is that. U stick to one. Easier to manage/upload/share. One shall rise, one shall fall :P

Unless you are the kind who maintains tumblr, posterous blogs and require lot of online presence

is all fine and dandy. But everything is public by default. Not liking that.

In any case, it'll only matter if your real friends join it. Now everyone has jus joined it due to hype. Will they visit it after a month? Will more quit fb and join? That is the question

They don't have a choice. http://www.allfacebook.com/the-one-google-plus-feature-facebook-should-fear-2011-06

They do have that advantage yes. Any google website and u can see that.

I personally dont mind switching to it and ending FB altogether. As long as there r good mobile apps and everybody comes there. Only thing to do is download my fb data. So far, few have joined.

One thing I'd give an edge to FB is because of the pages feature. Very easy to follow some people/bands/companies/offers or anything.

As someone said, Google already knows everything about you. So stick to just one guy knowing everything :P

Two things to note about this thread. A) Don't put your email addresses in the thread it just breeds spam because it's all public. B ) If you need an invite send me a pm and I'll try and get one to you.

They have a following circle so covered on that front too. Bands, etc are just gonna make accounts and get people to follow them on that.

What Google has done is taken Facebook, twitter and Skype and thrown it in a pot along with all their other services .. added some internet pop culture and humor and pooped out a brilliant mixture called Google+

its future now depends on how ready people are to adopt a new social network and what Facebook does to stop its users from doing just that.
