kanbad
more than 65per signal is needed for online.......... aslo i would suggest if the connection is working on ur laptop ...use internet sharing betwwen laptop and ps3
theneurotoxin
My router and PS3 are on different floors but I get sufficient signal, so yes a better router might just do it. As for using a router as a repeater, any cheap router on the market should be able to do it.
Kaio
I had the same problem before. So i had to take my PS3 to the same floor. Otherwise you ll need to purchase and setup signal boosters.
Zeehunter
I have my router and Xbox 360 on different floors . I get around 60% on PS3 and more than 50% on Xbox 360 . But the thing is that I dont have much interference between both . If u have many obstacles u will have to get a wifi repeaters/boosters or else powerful router . mittu
No need to buy repeater. Buy Cheapest second hand router available and use it as a repeater. Here are the commands to do that:http://www.ehow.com/how_5041236_use-wireless-router-repeater.html I will suggest you to get some friends wifi router first and try it.
