Orion991
My uncle recently ordered an Xbox 360 for his son. He asked one of his friends coming back from the US to get one as they're cheaper over there. Trouble is, he did not ask me beforehand otherwise I would've warned him about 360s being region locked. So yeah, now my cousin has a NTSC/U console and obviously he can't buy games here as they're PAL. So any advice/suggestion as to what can be done? Btw, the only solution I could find is buying games from Play-Asia. But I've heard thats unreliable as games get lost during shipment or get held at customs. I don't know if theres some simple solution that I'm overlooking but since I'm more of a PS3 guy, I dunno much about 360s. Edit: Oh and yeah, I read the 360 faqs here and I know some games are region-free but I can't expect my cousin (hes 11) to go around searching for region-free games. I'm looking for a more permanent solution.
Zeehunter
Most of the game are Region free . What u can do is before buying a XYZ game , first check the play-asia compatibility guide . If it is region free then buy the game frm any retail shop . And the games which are region free , there is nothing written on the game cover like Region free U will have to research on u r own before buying . Or else get games frm US if any relative stays there or buy frm play asia

sahil678
Almost 80% games released now are region free so just check out the region compatibility while buying a game in the markey
