I just went through the thread. Its just baffling me how he justifies what he's doing. Even more, how confidently he is showing us how he calculates warranty. Whatever logic people tried to throw him, he's like no no, buyer used 7 months no, im giving Rs. 400 back. Fair no? What retarded logic is that?! Seriously he is totally unaware of how warranty works apparently. Tough luck jerin

Threw in my lot on the thread too.. hope my post makes sense. Basically, I see he sold it on ebay india (correct me if i'm wrong m-jeri). Shouldn't he be kicked off that site at the very least if he doesn't honor the definition of a WARRANTY as set by said site?

Sellers on eBay India may offer certain types of Warranties. A Warranty is basically a guarantee given by the seller that a product is reliable and free from known defects and that the seller will, without charge, repair or replace defective parts within a given time limit and under certain conditions.

That SOB has replied:

^^ Under Certain Conditions - ask the buyer to take it up with ebay they will contact me and i will tell them everything and whatever will happen will happen.

Same Value - According to our sites rule we are only liable to pay a mutually agreed upon price

I have also given the buyer one more option - Lets start a WTB thread buy the same PL30 with 5-6 months warranty and be done with this

He does play the 'retarded seller' role very well.

I've replied again there too. http://www.techenclave.com/market-feedback/rahul-itwares-rma-policy-same-all-195007-37.html

^^^ his replies are so stupid and illogical...and add to that his rude behaviour...

see you can fight and argue with someone who is atleast trying to talk sense ,or logically trying to counter you..but when someone is behaving totally retarded..then it just gets on the nerves

isnt warranty offered by the company. i mean its not in the hands of the retailer. whatever the company policy, retailer has to abide by it.if the company is shut down then its a different thing.

this is a very valid and unarguable fact. i may as well acuse him of exchanging the defective product with a new one now that he has a bill of it n then he may re-sell it to other people.

Look at his last reply .. still with the 5-6 months used stuff warranty blah blah blah

Such an imbecile.

after going through all his replies...i have concluded that ,this guy has taken it as a ego issue...as it is he seems a very arrogant fella..and with so many members trying to talk sense into him...he sees it more like pressuring him ,threatening him etc...and he wont bend in front of it...that seems his idea..

This is the first time I've done 3 posts on TE in the span of 1 hour in the same day since I joined long ago  .

Man, this guy is stubborn as hell and persisting with his retarded arguments. I'm even dragging Sony's replacement policy into the argument since he keeps saying "Service center" all the time.

So this is what he's offering finally ... still pretty bad but I guess all our arguments were worth only a 250 rupee hike in his 'compensation'. Some people are just thick like that:

This is my last post in this thread and here is what i have to say,

Since the product is not there in stock with us and nor can we replace the same with a new one or a higher model as we don't have any earphones from soundmagic anymore.

Here are the options that we can offer to the buyer

1 - Take a credit note or cash Rs. 600/- or 650/- if u don't want me to ship the product back as according to our Rules which were before hand mentioned on our site if a product is not available we can talk to the buyer and can settle the same to a mutually agreed value and not the Full Value.

2 - We or He arranges a PL30

FINALLY, the guy gets it..but not before the twist of another crook Amarbir jumping to his defense.. but this is now itwares finally explains to amarbir..

-Lets say u bought 1 PL30 for 10$ from sound magic and when u return the same to them in warranty period and say they told you they don't have stock will u accept a CN of 5$ or will you say u want full 10$, u will say 10$ and will get 10$ so follow the same for these guys too.

apne ko customer bana ke dekha to samajh mein aaya..

and he has changed the policy now that jerin can take anything he wants from itwares' stocked products worth full value of PL30 - taxes..
