Blasts in Mumbai

इश्वर का शुक्र है की आप जैसे और पागल लोग इस फोरम पर नहीं हैं .

That's the problem. You didn't even tried to understand the issue. Issue is not the blast imo, but people like you, who start all this "OMG, hope everyone is okay" sh*t, when something happens. Other times, you won't even give a rat's a*s to what is going on. Living in Mumbai for a month, I realized people actually care much less about blasts here, but more about the aftermath. Abhi tum jaisa log milke danga karenge, bus jalayenge, kis liye ki police kuch nahi karti. un log ka problem koi nahi dekhte. daily, main itna jagah se jaata, jidhar ek chhota sa patakha bhi phoota, to kam se kam 10 log marenge, bhaag daud me. emergency situation ko kaise handle karna, aata hi nahi.. emergency situations ka first rule, "don't panic".. par log pura cellphone network jaam karte.. idhar mera manager flight book kar raha, aaj hi waapis bhaagne ko.. aise bewakoofi se kya hoga.

Abhi tak koi sure nahi, ki kahin aur phir se blast na ho.. aise me police ko call karne ke liye ya hospital call karne ke liye jyada jaroori hai, ya mera apne gharwalo ko batana, ki main sahi hoon. jo mar raha, usko call karna, aur pata chala, network busy... daily kam se kam 100 emergencies hota waise bhi.. sab ke sab band.. agar mujhe koi medical emergency hua, to main to phokat me mar jaoonga na, bhale hi main 20km door hoon. ek ghante ke baad aaram se ghar par call karke, theek hoon, bolne ka.. baad me agle din bhi pura description de sakte.. phokat roads, telephone lines jam nahi karne ka..

BTW, I do feel for those, who lost their lives.. I could have easily been one of those.. just the thought makes me sick.. but still panicking doesn't make sense...

It's high time govt. responds to this.

Reminds me of "A Wednesday". Really sad state of affairs we live in. I doubt how much safe Delhi is. Go via metro literally every day and the police guards in charge of the luggage scanner don't even look at it when bags/packages pass through it. I know these machines make a noise if any blast material is detected, but with terrorists finding out innovative ways to blow away areas with high people density, it just doesn't seem right. And the Metro is one prime target with lacs and lacs of commuters travelling daily via it.

Pretty sure security will now be tightened, but will again be warped in a couple of months.

Truth is, scumbag terrorists will always find a way to blow themselves up. Metal detectors etc are a nice thought but at the end of the day short of putting cops everywhere and declaring a 24X7 curfew nothing will prevent things like these from happening. And even then it would be very hard. There are too many people and too many crowded places in our country. We cant be everywhere.

What we need instead is a world class (literally as good as the CIA, Mossad etc) intelligence agency that can stop these attacks before they begin. RAW seems to be painfully lacking at the moment.

bloody ch**ts.

they should have expected this since today was VIP's birthday .

Just monday they removed barricadsy from in and around taj hotel and colaba. It was in the paper, declaring its safe. How informed!!!

This is what they do :furious:

Mumbai comes to normal in 2 days and all forget the blasts. And then after few months the same story again. This has been the pattern over the years. Why the hell the security is not amped up all the time.

talking about malls and other places. They dont even check the girls, just the males are checked. And the girls go unchecked here.

Mumbai has to come back to normal, the people do not have a work around

thousands depend upon daily wages and have to travel or work at the same spot even the very next day

but the securities should be vigilant all time, WTF do they relax, not done

Afty is so right, we need better intelligence

No intelligence is going to help prevent someone slipping a bomb inside a car and vanishing in the crowd. We have many f**ked up people in India.

Mumbai will always remain the same !!1

its the security and the ministry that needs to grow and mature after every incident. but all they do is resign and avoid any consequences. damn ministry.

Hope the ministry reshuffle problem is stalled and they take measures on this incident

So, you want to do what. Call everyone you know to let them know you are okay. Will that change anything. You can always call them a few hours later. Someone who just had an heart attack or some accident, can't wait. If I say, that this is sad, I feel for those people, and that kind of thing, it won't make a difference. That's why I don't do it. But, one thing for sure, I will remember it for a long time. Tell me, how many of you super-sensitive guys, even followed japan's earthquake and tsunami news after a week? And you telling me, I need help. Atleast I still remember that they suffered, and are still suffering probably.

Also, I had gone through a certified training for emergency situations, that's why I don't panic much. But, I guess, it is stupid to even talk sense, to guys like you. Pretty sure, someone from you, will even join stupid rallies and burn effigies of political parties to show their concern. I am sorry, but I can't do that. If that makes me an idiot, well I am happy to be called one.

i just dont understand how can they enter the city with so much explosives and go unnoticed.

They make it in the city only .

The bombs were IEDs which are much easier to make from normal easily available things
