But then MS has amazingly, gifted people capable of pulling this off. Plus it will be easier for the consumers to buy things from the store . For e.g If u want to buy a particular game like Angry birds or Plants vs zmbies which is available for PC, WinPho7 , Xbox 360 . In the current scenario u will have to buy it 3 times to play it on u r PC,Xbox and WinPho7 . In the unified ecosystem will have to buy once . They may or may not exercise consumer friendly options even with the tech supporting them. And also, just FYI, for the example you have quoted, a unified OS is not required. You just need to purchase one copy for one system which may carry a digital download voucher for the other platforms. I believe, this is already being planned for the PS3 and the PSVita games in the near future with the whole cloud saving and "transfar". Again, their may or may not be a price attached to each copy or it can be given away free; it is at the publisher's discretion. WOW!...i used to think you will have to buy game for ps3 and psvita separately...this is just amazing.......this is freaking awesome news if i can own game on both console and psvita and pay just once....
