zeeman11 Posted July 17, 2011 Report Share Posted July 17, 2011 Hi please help as im confused b/w two offers 1. ps3slim160gb mfd(february2011) : 16600+750 and 1 year (sony) and 2 years(croma warranty) 2.ps3 slim 320gb with killzone ( 20500) in croma , 17.5k in greymarket please help i dnt need much of hdd. but 1. old mfd will have which firmware, and how does it make the diffrence ? can i use external hard disk to store games and play? can i install disk and play? is that true that slim 160gb has high chances of freezing issues? is it true that ps3 loads games little slower due to blueray? thanks alot i need quick info,.... feel free to advice anythng.. The way you write, it is obviously very hard to understand... Simple terms, Firmware updates are used to keep your PS3 up-to-date be in terms of introducing new functionality in PS3, fixing issues... just like you get patch updates for the games(I assume you know about it) If you want to play online games, no matter on what version your current PS3 version is, you would have to update it to the current version.
