I was a huge WWE fan but in the last 6 months, TNA has surpassed WWE in all sections. The superstars they have like Kurt Angle, Hogan, Nash, Steiner, AJ Styles, Chris Daniels, etc are top notch and moreoever they have a great storyline going. Making comments like that just makes you look ignorant. Nemo Posted January 31, 2010 Report Share Posted January 31, 2010 (edited) fallen angel christopher daniels him, samoa and AJ are the only noteworthy faces of TNA that one can say rose purely from TNA and problem is they are pushed to side lines by the wwf/e-wcw crowd. Samoa and AJ are used as props in the kurt angle-sting-nash-foley fights, Christopher is the "curry man" what a way to lose credibility and sonjoy dutt was never gonna reach big stardom. Abyss could have been big but he too is gong the kane way. Thing is, TNA is not really much different, what with jeff jerret over staying in the spot light (its his company after all) and re hash of old stories. One thing i will give and that is its more fun to watch than present day wwe and that is cause the matches are more EDGY ie less safety norms. "on this day..!!" the only thing i like about him is the epic Metalingus song btw i dont know how he looks now but when i last saw him, Spear is SOOOOO not the finisher for him. his chest/shoulder is too lanky and non buff to give the move credibility. now- THIS is how you deliver a spear. Nemo Posted February 2, 2010 Report Share Posted February 2, 2010 yeah goldie had good one too but i never liked him tbh. goldberg was written to be that all squashing monster and had the look and that was all. He had personality of a brick, no mic skills, very limited movset (punch, kick, spear, making faces, jackhammer- 98% of his endings). He was sloppy in ring and caused many real accidents to other wrestler (including bret hart) due to careless moves. I always found his matches boring, i admit that he did good for what he was asked for but when i compare him to some one like lesnar who did all the big monster squash-er moniker of goldberg, as good if not better and had the same mic ability/personality but was a far far FAR superior wrestler- look at his matches with benoit/angle, lesnar matched the 2 most pure wrestlers in wwe move for move- i see all the more fail of Goldberg.
