Leave WWE for NHL, then MMA, and now again back to WWE hopefully. But both provided solid entertainment. Saying his matches are boring is stretching it. I rather watch a kayfabe monster taking out stables or a match which tells a story rather than two dudes rolling on floor going for headlocks and grapple holds. I would rather watch real Olympic wrestling if that was my interest. That is my opinion. Hence I consider that Angle vs HBK match at WM as very overrated, no story to tell, just mat wrestling, a failed moonsault by both and boom, tap out. I rate Angle vs Lesnar Iron man match, HBK vs HHH street fight and HBK vs Y2J ladder match higher than that, thanks to good spots and awesome story telling. When a Hero Turned Heel and a Heel Turned Hero... They went through everything in that match and what a story telling. This is what Wrestling and entertainment is all about. That shouldn't be hard to guess for any die hard wrestling fan... Ofcourse Im talking about One of the Greatest Wrestlemania Matches and perhaps All Time.. Hitman vs Austin in that bloody encounter. Just too good with perfect emotion. That changed the Attitude Era Forever.. with HBK-Razor's Ladder Match. Â Such type of Story-Telling I recently witnessed in Taker-HBK's Part I & II and HBK-Nature Boy @ Wrestlemania... For pure classic Old School Wrestling, Its WM 25 and More Story telling in WM 26 but the best story-telling IMO was HBK-Flair (Emotional Encounter) "I am Sorry, I love you" HBK Speaks to Flair before that Super Kick.. I think WM 27 match(Taker-HHH) was also good in some aspect.. but can't beat HBK's. There is no doubt in my mind that HIAC will be the Match of WM XXVIII but I just wanted to see.. Stevie G Posted March 28, 2012 Report Share Posted March 28, 2012 Best Storytelling I have seen was the Streak vs Career match .Its the match that got me back to Wrestling.It was the first time since WM 22 that I started following the WWE again .I still remember watching WM 26 Live and then feeling sick for so many days afterwards. 1 such incident i remember about it is when i was talking about the match with a friend in an aurto and suddenly the driver also started to take part in the discussion as to whether it was actually the end of the career or not and how the ending had spoiled his mood as well After that its gotta be the Flair retirement which was the perfect way to retire for Flair but he tarnished it by coming back and finally who can forget Shawn michaels Boyhood dream coming true In recent memory it was the MITB pay per view and CM Punks victory over SuperCena and him leaving with the World Championship,although they did screw up the entire storyline immediately by bringing Punk back in 8 days and then adding Big Sexy to the feud Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lesnar was a legit beast who could actually wrestle and put on 30 minute classics. Goldberg is a keyfabe monster who is a backstage wimp with no respect for the business and dangerous to his co workers. This i read somewhere Jericho had a fight with him and Jericho had immediately got him in a submission hold before they were separated. Story was nicely built, all three men were destroyed emotionally.. but Benoit! 18 years of his childhood dream came True. Again the ending moments with Eddie. Awesome. Â 0. Streak vs Career :- I don't need to say anything. We all witnessed this. Match of the Year 2010. Â One thing:- Does anybody know the name of the Flute that started in the initials moments of the Promo between Streak vs Career. Man.. that flute was so good that it gave goosebumps and something that will move every WWE Fan. When HBK addresses:- "You know Undertaker, People say that Last Year we had the Greatest Match in the Wrestlemania History. I wrestled a Perfect Match.. But that Cena and Rock's Encounter was Epic. Now I can smell something great going to happen on April 1st... Just going through the individual promos of Cena and Rock from their childhood to this business to movies.... Seems this is hyped to an exponential heights. I hope they deliver a ***** star Match that people keep remembering else I will be very pissed. Missing Rey Mysterio........ Lets see what SD brings to the table tomorrow.
