'Pranay Posted April 26, 2012 Report Share Posted April 26, 2012 (edited) I agree Punk was Awesome as a heel and till his feud with Triple H he was right at his top but he has been booked like SuperPunk .Jericho needed to win at WM so that the feud had some interest .Compare him to his Summer of Punk story and compare now Punk is botching up as well in some matches. I am a huge punk fan but has not been the same after his pointles match against hhh Also Cena was better then punk in that match mitb and punk vs jericho was under whelming as well [crowd didnt help either in that match]. Its in Chicago You people watch wrestling with too much detail , it was fun when we were kids , i still had known it was fake by the time i reached 9th or so but still my mind didn't work like the minds of people here , common you should read your posts , i feel like i am reading posts by WWE Executives rather than fans , you should just enjoy the characters with the attributes they bring on table instead of going to deep with what they do , i really agree with pranay cena gets crap storylines , the most crap for me was the one with the rock , for 6-7 year since the rock left i never seen cena talk foul about the rock & suddenly WWE Comes up with a story that starts just because the rock hates cena for talking smack behind his back There were some fine examples of awesome WWE Stories like Triple H V/s Orton 2 years back where Triple H Was looking for revenge against orton for attacking his family , then there was Cena's fued against orton which i quite liked where orton kicked cena's father , the character of john cena really brings mostly positive stuff to live your life by , he is a inspiration for kids & a moral figure for adults who can explore the character if that were the case and executives thought like us Cena would have turned Heel by now TBH while I dont think Cena is a great wrestler, he isnt a bad wrestler either. There have been popular wrestlers who are way way worse (*cough* Hogan *cough*). Cena's in ring work is no worse than someone like the Rock. The WWE creative have sapped all the fun out of him. And yeah like ambar says, that sh*t eating grin of his doesnt help either. Its infuriating when one wrestler is trying to add heat to a feud and Cena just stands there smiling his idiotic smile while that happens. Look at the Rock-Cena promos from the last 2-3 months. The Rock was throwing down everything while Cena just stood there smiling. Come on man, at least pretend it pisses you off. Anyway, prediction for this PPV- Jericho wins. Its f**king over due. Punk's character has been stale and boring as hell. Get the belt off him. Shamu wins. WWE seem to be keen on him being the next Cena. Orton wins. Dont care if he doesnt either. Boring rivalry is boring. Lesner wins. Cena disappears for 6-8 weeks while Lesner runs riot through the roster. Then Cena comes back and beats him at the next PPV saves the WWE. Cena is a lot better than that read and yellow candy a*s . Also that smile is all down to his character .He delivered 1 promo about he was a professional wrestler and 1 promo where he rapped .Those 2 promos were Awesome but otherwise he has to smile stupidly to make the kids happy or as nitroneo said to spend positive energy . It's the new what. Fans are the only fresh thing in WWE, anything better than Cena marks. Orton Cena fued was one of the worse. Both can't cut a decent promo, it's either Super Cena Or Evil Orton. See the thing is that we know wrestling is fake but we still hate predictible stuff, we want to be surprised, that's why Lord Tensai gimmick isn't clicking with fans. We know he is Albert, making him speak japanese or act as monster heel won't work. He is boring to watch. Unpredictiblity, good promos/mic skills, good technical skills,less botches is what we want. Cena gives all the opposite stuff. I really like Clay, was expecting him to be another monster heel but this funkasaurus thing surprised me & looked interesting. welp, expect WWE creative to run it in the ground. No character development, no titles, no main events, well look who is in the main event this month? Now check last month, the month before that, & go on. Cena always talked foul about Rock after he left. youtube/google it. Also what was exciting about Orton-HHH fued? another evil orton strikes type fued that get boring real soon. Brock carries the badass heel thing real well. You can feel the vibe. Bryan is also a superb heel, one of the best atm.. Also do you seriously expect adults to get behind Cena ? You do realise that the world isn't all black & white & all rosy dosy with good ending ? There is hypocrisy & injustice all around, you gotta live with that.
