The matches were good and it was definitely one of the most brutal ppvs I have seen in a long long time. BTW, the Angle vs Anderson match was the best in the show and the highlight was definitely when Angle performed a moonsault from the top of the cage . All I can say is ... But later on as the match continued, the commentators did say 'good thinking by Anderson, etc and Anderson got up faster. Sounds like the PPV was brilliant. I really cant quite understand the timings of TNA for us. I suddenly see an Impact on thursdays or Wednesdays, then a PPV midweek. He set up a ladder over the top of a steel cage, put his opponent on a table over the cage and jumped from the ladder with a swanton bomb Can wrestling get any better ??? Hence, they mutually agreed to terminate the contract and TNA signed him up. TNA had received a lot of criticism for doing so as some critics pointed out that they were not bothered about the health of their superstars. shekdown Posted April 24, 2010 Report Share Posted April 24, 2010 I thought the Angle issue was that he needed to take a really long break to heal from his injuries, and he needed to do it constantly. Since WWE found it too dangerous to have Angle, they terminated their contract with him. He still wanted to wrestle, so he joined TNA. He set up a ladder over the top of a steel cage, put his opponent on a table over the cage and jumped from the ladder with a swanton bomb that is one sucky move i saw that a couple of days ago on tv and that is nothing to be :O and about. firstly that is NOT a swanton. this is a swanton hardy just fell belly first on the table. not impressive. and secondly how was that any different from a normal body splash from a ladder he climbed a ladder and jumped to a guy on a table that was lying onthe same plane as the ladder, ie small vertical distance. only difference was that both the ladder and the table were up top a cage. now had jeff jumped from the ladder to a guy on a table that was below the cage, packing some impressive vertical height, THEN it wud have been 'holywtfbbqomg' kinda move. this was just lame, he did far better stunts in his hardy boyz days. and he is back to tna ?? err did not he like won a heavyweight belt in wwe last year or so ?? and whats with the paint jeff ?? back to sniffing paint days Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nemo Posted April 24, 2010 Report Share Posted April 24, 2010 now i dont watch either wwe or tna religiously nowdays and dont really care about either. but attitude era can never be matched. that was one special time period where a no. of charismatic wrestlers with in ring talent came together and some really good storylines were written. also one thing i really dislike about tna is the way they are pimping has beens. i mean all i see are foley, hogan, nash, flair, angle, jarret and previously booker and stiner. i mean ok, they are good wrestlers (well some of them) but should the peeps at tna not concentrate more on the upcoming stars, preferably frm their own ranks ?? only abyss and aj styles have made it as tna originals and even they are mostly jobbing to the wwf/e oldies. The booking is awful, and even though the undercard matches are quite decent, when the main event is filled with old f**ks who can't wrestle, you're never going to be legitimate competition.
