Styles vs Okada would be interesting to see, as they already have history in TNA. Here's hoping Styles gets the IWGP title next month. Nice to see people interested in Puro. Any recommendations for older puro matches? Also, how do you guys watch the latest shows? Is there a dedicated site for videos of latest NJPW events? Keyofx Posted April 14, 2014 Report Share Posted April 14, 2014 Don't really follow NJPW much as they're more showy than AJPW or NOAH. Think WWE vs. RoH. RoH some would argue, is a probably a better pure wrestling org. Brian Danielson and CM Punk were both RoH alumni and are very capable wrestlers. The best sources for puro are dedicated pro-wrestling torrent sites and YouTube. There's a lot to watch on YouTube alone. Like this. There are lots of best match rankings online (Dave Meltzer is a good bet). Look rankings up for each org separately. This seems like a good start. A Bootista Orton match would have had an intensely negative crowd reaction. I dont think WWE could afford to have their show piece match of the year just get completely sh*t on by the crowd. And having Bootista win in the triple thread would have an even larger negative reaction. Imagine the champ getting non stop boos at the end of WM. So I dont think it was as much as listening to the fans as "holy f**k we are boned if we go down this path" reaction.
