Nemo
wow ! more respect for CM punk (more than i had). Straight edge baybee !! X 22 years and still clean moi. But even apart from the sXe lifestyle, i liked seeing him; right from obscure RoH videos, marked like a school girl at his cameo appreance for the first time on wwe (he was one of the mafia henchmen in cena's wrestlemania -forgot the year- chicago gangster entrance) i loved his wrestling matches, of course due to the whole wwe going down the gutter i have not been wathcing in the past 4 years or so. But that rant was epic !! as good as Paul Haymen's rant on the first One night stand (do see, if anyone has not yet). What he said reeked truth, I dont know the behind the scenes in wwe mgmt but the final product looks total crap. its obvious that without competetion, vince has made once awesome entertainment show into sunday morning cartoons. I wish punk all the very best in his next wrestling stop, will be sure to go out of my way to see him in future. Nikushimi
There are rumours that Austin might have one last run left in him. We could be in for a attitude vs PG wrestlemania with Punk facing Austin and Cena facing Rock. They're still just rumours though, we'll wait and see. Thanos
The attitude era is over and done with. It will never be back cause the greatest of legends: The rock, Austin, Eddie, Benoit, Shawn Micheals, edge, and countless other mid carders are all retired, dead or into acting. Triple H is one last glitter of hope in these sad times, and the moment he and undertaker retire, that will be it. Do NOT even bring up TNA here or I will smash your head into a wall. WWE is going down the drain. Case in point: As part of WWE’s recent “rebranding” effort (dropping “World Wrestling Entertainment” as the official company name, banning the word “wrestling”) – a document that was distributed internally has leaked out titled “The Language of WWE.” According to the Figure 4 Wrestling Newsletter, he document was sent to employees who do international voice-overs for WWE programming outside of the United States. The sheet includes a list of words and phrases that have now been deemed “Incorrect Terminology” – along with what they consider the “Correct Terminology” to be used on their televised shows. From “The Language of WWE” - “World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is a publicly traded entertainment company (NYSE: WWE) that creates and delivers a weekly action soap opera to its passionate fans. WWE has been a recognized leader in entertainment for more than 25 years and has developed into one of the most popular and sophisticated forms of global entertainment today. As a global entertainment brand, the language that we use when communicating on WWE is critical. Please ensure that you are familiar and employing the below, effective immediately. “ Here are some of the terms that are banned and the alternatives that WWE wants used: * “Wrestling” or “catch” is banned. Some European countries still use the term “catch” to describe pro wrestling and “catchers” to describe wrestlers. * The following phrases are incorrect: “Wrestling is broadcast in 145 countries,” or “Catch is broadcast in 145 countries.” The correct terminology is: “WWE is broadcast in 145 countries.” * Even the word “Sports” is no longer allowed. Instead, WWE is to be referred to as “Entertainment” or an “Action Soap Opera.” Seriously. WWE gives these examples: “WWE is exciting entertainment” or “WWE is an exciting action soap opera” * “Athletes” or “Sportsmen” are not allowed either. WWE gives the following example to use: “WWE Superstars are entertainers with tremendous athletic prowess.” * The terms “fight” and “fighting” are not allowed. Matches must be referred to as “matches,” “bouts,” and “action.” “The Language of WWE” concludes with the following “Key Soundbytes” to be used: * “WWE is pure entertainment” * “WWE is an action soap opera” * “WWE Superstars are entertainers with tremendous athletic prowess” source: http://www.sescoops.com/wrestling-news/wwe/the-language-of-wwe-list-of-banned-allowed-terms/ Edited June 30, 2011 by MindWarrior

Triple H is one last glitter of hope in these sad times, and the moment he and undertaker retire, that will be it. You forgot to mention Kurt Angle . His fueds with The Rock, SCSA and Triple H were one of the best moments of the Attitude Era. I think the last glitter of hope for the WWE ended when Angle left for TNA. Triple H can't really do anything on his own and well The Undertaker is just a shadow of what he was before. I'm just happy I have WM XIX with me on my HDD. That is perhaps the greatest WWE event that I have watched.

Aftrunner
WM 17 for me. No contest. That Triple thread TLC match (Hardyz, Edge and Christian and Dudleyz) was probably the most insane thing I have seen in Wrestling. Not to mention the main event (Rock vs Austin) was sublime as well. Even mid card matches like Benoit-Angle, TripleH-Taker etc were great.

Man In The Box
WM 19 for me. Brock vs Angle; hbk v/s Y2J HBK v/s Y2J Also : Hogan v Vince, Stone Cold vs The Rock. And even the mid card matches were so awesome, specially that 3 way tag match between Team Angle, Los Guerreros and Chris Benoit & Rhyno. Even WM 21 was good with the Angle v Shawn Michaels match.
