Whoever came up with this plan needs an applause 👏 Also a special salute to The Rock for not shying away to be the Heal “unwanted guy” at this stage of his life. As simple as that. It was meant to entice strong emotions for Cody & someone walking over him. It’s not the first time something like this has happened & it could have been easily written differently in many repeated to death scenarios. Also it was Cody who dragged Rock’s Grandfather into the mix & not the other way around. So whatever the plan basically was…it always had Cody’s involvement penciled in. If it was The Rock Vs Roman straight up….they wouldn’t have had all this start with Cody himself. Plus the wwe superstars themselves making statements & tweets to entice major reactions about the whole thing. You really think if The Rock wanted something out of this whole thing he would have allowed all this to go the way it did?!? He has much more creative control than Hogan ever did even in WCW. He’s on the freakin board now. This was always meant to be Cody Vs Roman….with The Rock coming in at the last minute to entice strong reactions & that’s exactly what is happening. Whether he wrestles in any capacity or not still remains to be seen. Something similar happened back in WM27 when it had a lacklustre main event & over all card. Apart from when he first came out on Thursday, there is nothing mixed about reactions Rock has been getting since then. Today, he was literally getting booed non stop and it took him 5 mins to get in few lines. Rock is a full fledged heel and thats obvious. There is no grey area here. Cody literally just said that Roman Grandfather would be ashamed of him which is nothing wrong. Roman called Dusty irrelvant. There is nothing Cody has done or said which is wrong. He didn't open a powerpoint of his family tree, Rock did. What you or me think is irrelevant. It is extremely clear based on all the internal sources that Rock was going to get forced this WM against Rock and none of this ever was the plan. The adverse reactions to Rock was not expected by anyone including Rock himself and that was clear even from his face. Having said that, its good that they were flexible and Rock turned heel because there was no way he could have remained a face as he would have gotten booed non stop anyways. It is obvious Rock didnt expect to get booed so heavily. Just because he is on the board doesnt mean he can control reactions people give him, that is the point. Until Cody walked in it didn’t seem to get any major reaction on either side. Also #CodyCrybabies was amongst the top 10 trending on US Twitter/X. & That’s exactly my point…….. If The Rock wanted it his way & that too surprisingly at the last minute (which blows my mind as to why) he has enough creative control that he could have thrown Cody off the frame altogether before his entry & also keep a lid on other Superstar’s mouths & accounts the way he wanted. I guess you don’t really have a clue what sort of creative control these superstars hold. Rock is a straight up heel and that was clearly forced based on people's reactions. People were literally shouting What after each of his dialogue. Literally every single media person with proper internal contacts and sources have clearly said that this wasn't the plan and anyone who actually thinks so is hillariously wrong. Not that anyonr can stop you from thinking whatever you want. Crowd reactions in a closed environment can be controlled/misjudged but millions & millions in open space can’t be. If you think Cody is some godly figure that didn’t need so much screen time & planned comments from fellow superstars(which WWE clearly gave him)to get his game up then well what can I say…. WWE creative & The Rock himself aren’t that stupid as you believe them to be…… But anyway…..it is what it is….. Rock Roman segment had more than 500k dislikes. 2-3 wrestlers from WWE posted lets go cody, thats all. 2 of ehich were mustapha ali and ricochet. If you think either of those wrestlers posting helped or actuslly created the movement, not sure what to tell you. That entire movement was completely organic and there is absolutely nothing which wwe or rock did to help it. Rock's posts right after that segment clearly showed how he was under the assumption that everything is all set. It was clearly "Rocky Sucks! Let's Go Cody!" The Rock had to wait so long to even get his "Finally, The Rock has..." catchphrase going. Also, the WHAT!? chants these days are always used for the ones who the audience doesn't align with, unless it's Stone Cold, of course. The majority of the crowd IS with Cody and there's no denying it. If that wasn't the case, CM Punk wouldn't have said "Where were you guys in 2013?" And why did Roman have to talk about Cody's Dad first? Of course, Cody responded in the same language. Nothing wrong with that.
