The Rock & Undertaker literally never had any main event rivalry….let alone Summerslam/WM esque history!!

As a shock value it was good to hear the gong but after thoughts are quite weird to fit in!!

Even Hulk Hogan would have been a better option.

Ya it's very weird. Undertaker coming out of nowhere with no build up about anything is so stupid in hindsight. Even HHH just hitting chair shot or pedigree would have been fine.

What a main event :majesty:

Amazing wrestling, tension, Cena return then Rock immediately then Taker and that finish. Spectacular stuff :wOOtjumpy:

That Taker gong and that Pop. Wow.

Austin pop would have been louder. They missed a chance here but i guess he said no :P

Seth vs Drew was amazing and that title swap was Amazing.

Triple threat was awesome. That Paul guy can become a Super star.

Aj styles match had a abrupt finish but it was decent too.

All in All an amazing event.

Take a bow HHH and final boss. If they are truly going to attitude Era then Austin needs to raise hell again.

It is not just about the rock. Taker literally lost to Roman at mania. And Taker and Rock did have a history, not at Rock/Austin, Rock/HHH, Austin/Taker, etc. level but they do have some, that video is literally a proof of that. Their triplr threat match with Angle at Vegeneance literally is one of the best triple threwt matches in history. So there is something there. Nevertheless, Austin obviously would have been a better fit but my assumption is either he refused or he wasn't fit. Taker provided a decent replacement.

or he wasn't fit.

Wasn’t fitter than Taker who could barely walk or lift?!?

He clearly said no….or asking for too much money for no promo surprise appearance.

Either WWE should have paid whatever he asked for or negotiated better.

If it was just him blatantly uninterested then it’s obviously his Ego.

Anyway….it was good to see The Rock back nevertheless.

I guess SummerSlam The Rock Vs Cody & then WM41 The Rock Vs Roman would be good opportunity.

Fit as in fit enough to hit/take a bump. I doubt that was the case but whatever it was, I am sure they must have tried. Eitherways, it is what it is.

That 5-6 minutes of everyone coming was aweaome but I loved how all of that never felt it overshadowed Cody and Reigns. It all happened and all went away. None of it ever took away from Cody's win. Such a surreal moment.

Also, storytelling with Roman/Seth and Shield was duperb as well. True cinema..

Like it or not this entire mania was all about him!! :tease:

Of course, for nostalgia merchants it was about him. For others who actually watch and follow wrestling, it was beyond that. That is the reason what that finish was so emotional for everyone. Anyway, no point arguing with you.

I am glad you got to watch his match after so many years and 3-5 minutes that he was out on Night 2.

I wonder how many of those Mexican supes he was on. Must be juiced up to his head.

To the absolute fkn gills. Regardless though, he is in truly phenomenal shape. Compare him to his peers of similar vintage, including HHH who is no slouch himself, and you’ll appreciate to what unreal heights Dwayne the human has pushed himself to.

He looked to be moving and bumping much better than when he came back to feud with Cena (twice in a lifetime). I mean, he took that Roman spear like he took the Goldberg spear way back when.

& that made more money than the entire rest of the show….infact last many PPV’s combined.

Fact is fact.

Yeah, keep living in delusion because there is literally no way to prove it. There was barely that big a bump in tv ratings when rock was on, that is a fact. In the last to last raw, Punk's segment had better rating than any segment involving rock. That is a measurable fact. Rock's involvement created bigger mainstream attention, which would obviously happen with any big star's involvement. But that doesn't mean the entire Mania was about him. By your amazing logic, entire WM23 was about Trump  Only idiots who have no idea about the product will say that.

I mean, a person who was happy with Rock vs Roman at this year's mania over eveerything they had built with Cody is the last person I would take seriously over anything. As I said, according to your delusions, all of this was always a plan and not a pivot that they had to take after Rock got bitchslapped by the fans after forxefully inserting himselr. They literally confirmed that a week back. As I said, no point arguing with you.  It is pointless.

After watching Wrestlemania 40 I'm back to being a school kid again in the 90's... salivating and excited about bad a*s wrestling with attitude plastered all over it!

The last segment of the main event was absolute dope! Sure it would have been amazeballs if Austin had shown up but hey... who knows now what HHH has in store for us in the weeks to come! Keeping fingers crossed... the fun in WWE has been restored and I'm so psyched!! :wOOtjumpy:

It was so amazingly awesome to see Roman lying in the ring... lost, beaten and dethroned by Cody who's story has only just BEGUN!

Yep, that main event was surreal. Storytelling at its finest. Props to Roman as well for doing what he has done for the past few years.
