akS ! Posted February 22, 2009 Report Share Posted February 22, 2009 I am at the train level right now and am playing at Veteran. That difficulty is what defines this Game and others are just too simple. At Veteran if you play smart or in the 'usual' manner of pick and kill, you won't be going anywhere because the AI is doing the same thing. If you rush them and change positions often, they will be confused and won't expect you. I am talking specifically about the Academy level, it took me 10 tries to actually complete that level ultimately when I got pissed off and started playing fast instead of the usual stay at the back and pick. I have a headache now because I never found a Game so challenging before.... KZ2 doesn't have AI with Auto-Aim rather AI which reacts exactly opposite to how you would expect. You play slow, they push you back, you move ahead, they fall back and practically clueless. You guys need to remember that when you are left with a challenge then only will you try to find different routes and in that process will discover 'things' that you wouldn't expect in easy mode... Also I am glad they included xhair for Veteran in the retail version, make hell a little more enjoyable. akS !™ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Posted February 22, 2009 Report Share Posted February 22, 2009 Is the veteran mode unlocked from the start? at start there's an easy one(dont remember the name), then there is TROOPER (normal diff) and then VETERAN(hard) after u complete the game once on any difficulty ELITE (expert diff) is unlocked and that is one hellva nightmare , it has no xhair, no hud, and AI is a bitch Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
