VelivolusDas Posted July 21, 2011 Report Share Posted July 21, 2011 Activision Reveals Goldeneye 007: Reloaded For Xbox 360, PS3 Activision confirmed today that it is bringing an enhanced version of the Wii shooter Goldeneye 007 to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later this year. Goldeneye 007: Reloaded builds on the original release from last year with new HD visuals and realistic environments. Along with the original story campaign, Reloaded also features new 'MI6 Ops Missions' that will see players completing a series of assault, elimination, stealth and defense missions in the various story levels. The new game will also resurrect the split-screen multiplayer from the original release, with four-player local play and brand new 16-player online play. The online features will include new maps, weapons, characters and game modes than found in the N64 version. The PlayStation 3 version of the game will also support PlayStation Move functionality, implementing the Sharp Shooter peripheral. David Oxford, executive vice president at Activision, said, "We are beyond ecstatic to debut GoldenEye 007: Reloaded to the millions of fans who have been clamoring for it to arrive on Sony and Microsoft home consoles." "With full PlayStation Move functionality, 007 fans all around the world can play the game in full HD in more ways than ever before." SCEA's Rob Dyer added, "This is an outstanding opportunity for PlayStation fans to experience one of the most iconic and action-packed shooters in an all new way with PlayStation Move and the Sharp Shooter peripheral." "By bringing together GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, and PlayStation Move's Sharp Shooter, we are continuing to expand the new world of motion-based entertainment appealing for hardcore fans and only possible on PlayStation." I read in a different article that they built an engine "from scratch" for this PS360 game...... BTW anybody played the Wii version by any chance..... Is it any good......???? BTW anybody played the Wii version by any chance..... Is it any good......???? i think i read ..gamespot and ign gave it abt 8 and 9....it was received positively mostly but dont think it was commercial success.....kinda overshadowed by other games Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
