I bought Bioshock a few days back and i played it a bit but i haven't been playing that much. I haven't even touched Halo 3. Silent Hill is something that gets under your skin, it's not the Doom 3-type of monsters-jumping-at-you constantly type of stuff. You'll keep thinking about it even after you've turned it off (and will have nightmares if you sleep immediately after that). Trust me, it has happened to me with SH2 and SH4.
