DAT IDIOT!

Recommended Posts

skate demo - perfected grinding, olley+grab+spin, nolley and manuel+flick tricks !

able to do a grind, a running jump, a 180 spin, and landing safely :( Got 1st place in the contest in the demo in the first two rounds before da timer expired !

tweaking a grab is a bit tough though, but its a lot of fun in grinding....little more practise and I'll be ready to order/buy the full version :(

X360 - YSIC 07 (thanks to Amit) !

Got 150 GS in just 2 hours :P completed bowling tutorial, 50 individual score, over 200 total score, Hat-Trick and All out under 20 overs ;)

This game is 90% BLIC 2005 with some 10% modifications for next-gen consoles, da controls of X360 are a lot better than the keyboard, but everything else from bowling, batting, fielding to the player animations and the commentry lines are mostly similar to BLIC 2005.

Since I've played BLIC 2005 extensively, this game is now a cakewalk, will play to increase my GS. But really, looks like Codemasters did a pretty rush-up job by just porting BLIC 2005 to next gen with some improved gfx :wOOtjumpy:

But first cricket game on X360 and since I'm quite good at it, pretty enjoyable

vik, is the 360 version of hl2 rendered natively at 1080p? if yes, then which would look better on a display supporting 1080p - 720p with AA/AF piped thru a PC or 1080p thru the console?

Most games on the X360 are rendered @ 720p because the X360's scaler does a bang up good job of upscaling content to 1080p. A busload of memory is saved by rendering at 720p, which the devs can use to pump in higher res textures.

But regardless, the PC version will always look better if you can set all the graphics quality settings to high and turn up the AA and AF. After al the PC was the "lead platform" for the development of the Source Engine :nerves:
