I played thru the tutorial and the diff challenge modes in the demo within the time limit, dont think i would enjoy it for a long time. downloaded AC6 demo as well. Played for 10 mins and knew this is not my type of game. Gfx are pretty good though ! downloading overlord demo now....let me see howz that ! Ne0 Posted November 23, 2007 Report Share Posted November 23, 2007 ^^ even i'm playing SR, tell me one thing dude, is the blood/gore turned completely off in this game or what ? U hit a ped with a baseball bat, and he just falls flat, no blood, u shoot, blow him up, still the same. No limbs flying off or blood splashing across the floor....very unnatural ! shooting is really lame especially when compared to games like godfather and scarface and since most of the missions involve shooting, really sucks ! And another thing i noticed is the very lame storyline which is basically just wasting other gang members....most of them are a reason to drive n shoot ! And its the next-gen dammit, can't they put some lines for the lead actor ? And all the side missions appears completely disconnected with the game and utterly pointless. And the biggest flaw in the game is the city itself, its nothing like the cities of other sandbox games where u feel like exploring etc, this is a compeltely bland city with boring peds and even more boring architecture ! This game has a long long long long way to go even before we can compare it to earlier GTA games let alone GTA 4! To be honest, in the list of GTA clones, this game occupies the last seat IMO. Mostly listened to the Audio Commentary for the TF2 maps and tried to get a feel of the maps in general. Will dive into the MP part tonight.
